I've found that as I've become a young adult I've lost some interest in sports. As a kid I would look up to the athletes I watched because they were 'grown ups' and I wanted to be like them and become a great athlete like them. As an adult, I no longer look up to the players because I'm about the same age as them and have long since admited to my lack of athletic skill. I oftentimes find myself shaking my head at the young players who get in trouble with the law as if I were a dissapointed older brother. It really takes away from the enjoyment I used to have. Has anyone else experienced this? Have you found any ways to re-discover your joy of sports? (I guess this question is mainly directed at people 18+)

I only hear about black football players in trouble with the law. Is it that white players don't make mistakes or its not publicized?

i havent seen anything anywhere regarding the american league record that ichiro just set for consecutive stolen bases. 45 consecutive bases is really pretty amazing!! it puzzles me that it got no press considering that most of the stuff you hear about mlb is negitive. what do you think??

my friend thinks this is possible but i doubt it. is it possible to modify a 9mm blank firing gun to a real 9mm gun by replacing the barrell, spring and slide? or does it already shoot real bullets but its just safer to use a real barrell and slide and mybe stronger spring?

I am a 13 year-old fan the NBA. I do not have a favorite team or player, nor do I hate any player. I think he is innocent. Guilty of adultery, but innocent of rape. I don't want to be judgemental since I wasn't there, but evidence of another sexual partner was found on 2 pairs of her clothing and her body. It is highly unlikely that the DNA experts made the same mistake 3 times. She also attended alcohol parties in the weeks after. She was clearly not as traumatized as she claims.

Also, Kobe's knee and shoulder were hurting that night, and he couldn't even play in the first few games of the season. To my knowledge, the woman is about 5'10". No way would he have the strength to force her. Yes, an 8-inch height difference is a lot. But I am 5'1" and 100 lbs and I know I can hold off a 5'9" person with only 2 healthy limbs

I want to know more about the person Kobe is behind the way he acts on TV. This subject is controversial, but please keep your languaage clean.

Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara
In my personal opinion i would rate Lara better between the two because Lara can adapt to any playing conditions quickly and can score very freely as oppose to Tendulkar who takes time to adjust himself to a given playing condition, but the one thing tendulkar has that none possses is his batting ability, he can be a destructive and explosive yet he can be very technical and solid the very next time and as for lara goes he is not that of a techincal guy, he more of a power hitting guy but without a doubt these two will go down as the greatest of all but Lara will always have a edge considering his adaptibility to any given playing conditions compare to Tendulkar who usually strugggles in Fast, bouncy hand pitches
anyways, all your opinions are welcome
Thanks

Earlier today, Yankees DH Jason Giambi released a statement apologizing for taking performance-enhancing drugs. He then suggested that Major League Baseball (Players, owners and officials) should have apologized to the fans for what happened during the steroid era. Since then, there have been varying opinions about Giambi's "suggestion". Do you agree that the MLB owes the fans an apology?

He crashed before he even got the green flag on his speed up lap in qualifying. Now, once again, back of the pack in a backup car.

What is wrong with this guy. I know he has like zero confidence right now, but with as much money as Toyota has invested in him, you would think that at least he could qualify for a race in a decent position(or qualify at all) This is a past Daytona 500 winner we are talking about here.

I'm definitely no Waltrip fan, but this dude needs to get in the mix....and soon. He's an accident waiting for some place to happen.

I thought that where Michael was, he could go no lower, that sure was wrong.

Go Jr.

Whats your favorite paint scheme for Lowes? As a 24 fan, Im going to have to vote for Jr's #8 Camo that will be raced at lowes Coke 600. That paint scheme is totally the best hands down. Im sure my fellow HMS fans will agree. I wish Jeff would have raced it. Thats one thing DEI beat HMS in. Whats your favorite no matter who your driver is?

Heather Mitts, starting defender for the US national team tore her ACL and won't be playing the Women's World Cup! How will the defense suffer, (or survive)? I think the women will pull through.
