In Shaun Alexander's book "Touchdown Alexander," he explained that when FSU recruited him, they were using other recruits to lure Shaun. Bobby told him that they had a verbal commitment from one of the top WR in the country, Randy Moss.
From what I understand Randy Moss was intending on playing football at FSU until he got in trouble and ended up playing in the MAC at Marshall University with Chad Pennington.
