David Smith died five years ago today, so I want to remember him.
He was one of the first wrestlers I saw, and I liked him at once. My favourite moment was his match against Owen: Bret came into the ring and told them to stop fighting, because they were a family. They made it up and brought back the Hart Foundation - one of my favourite stables. In these days, he was one of my favourite wrestlers, he is one of the heroes of my childhood. After the Montreal Screwjob, he went to WCW, together with Bret and Jim Neidhart. I still liked him very much then, though he was not that successful in WCW. I am still sorry when I think of the terrible quarrel Bret and Davey had after Owen's death. Bret said a few things which were much too hard, but I think he has changed his mind now, after all the years.
Please share your memories of the Bulldog.
A 10-bell salute for the British Bulldog! Rest in Peace, Davey you are not forgotten. Thanks for everything.
