No, not balls and strikes, maybe the foul line or if it goes out of the park.

at the beginning, the ok-zone considered on baseball pronounces isn't suited for the easy reason that it particularly is finding on the strike zone in purely 2 dimensions while the strike zone is rather in 3 dimensions. the explanation at the back of it particularly is that, for sure, a television show screen is barely 2 dimensional. The strike zone in baseball no longer basically has height and width, it additionally has intensity - meaning that if a ball crosses the plate at any element, front or back of the plate, it particularly is a strike. i think of a greater suitable answer could be to rather call the strike zone as defined in the rule of thumb e book, and evaluation the umpires for their skill to realize this. The umpires could desire to study that the strike zone isn't desperate by potential of them, yet by potential of the rulebook. A ball 6 inches off the plate isn't a strike, in spite of who's umpiring. Likewise, a ball purely above waist point is usually a strike, in spite of who the umpire is.Too many umpires have taken away the severe strike and prolonged the plate outwards, meaning they at the instant are calling a strike zone that easily has been grew to become ninety levels from what the rulebook rather defines it as. The strike zone now seems to be wider then it particularly is severe. probable the perfect thank you to unravel this could be greater suitable umpire preparation, and the removal of umpires who sense that they are allowed to alter the definition of the zone.

Doubtful, I think umpires are an important part of the game.
Baseball is probably one of the more traditional of mainstream sports. Now that I think about it, it may be the only mainstream sport that doesn't use instant replay to change calls made in a game.
I'm gonna say no, that wouldn't happen.

Never, umpires are a big part of the game and help make the game what it is. How do you kick dirt in the face of a computer?
