Put the Ravens in that same class of teams. They were 13-3 last year and they held the Colts without a touchdown in the playoffs (they fumbled away all their opportunities on offense). They also beat San Diego and led the NFL in all defensive categories by massive margins (about 30 fewer points allowed than 2nd place New England and 20 fewer yards a game than 2nd and 3rd place Jacksonville and Oakland). The Ravens never allowed more than 26 points (all in the 1st half against Tennessee in a win) in a game all year The Ravens only lost 1 game in which they allowed over 20 points (Carolina, despite 3 TD passes by backup QB Kyle Boller after McNair went down in the 1st Quarter). The Ravens lost games in which they allowed 13, 13, and 15 points.

Last year's NFC Champion Bears lost their final game of the regular season to a Packers team that scored only 9 points just the week before against an awful Vikings defense. Definitely no NFC team could beat the Ravens in a Super Bowl.

I have no doubt that the AFC is going to win the Super Bowl for the 5th straight year and the 9th year out of the last 11.

It isn't saying all that much about the NFC when a mediocre Packers team is arguably the best team in the conference. Other top NFC teams include the Bears (their QB Rex Grossman turns the ball over more than NFL players get arrested), Eagles (their starting QB is coming off the same injury that doomed Miami's Daunte Culpepper last year), Giants (Their superstar RB retired and Eli Manning has yet to develop into half the player Peyton Manning is), Cowboys (They hired Wade Phillips as their coach and their QB Tony Romo blew a playoff game because he couldn't hold a football), Panthers (they actually dumped their number 2 receiver, though I think David Carr is going to be a great pickup for them), Saints (just how much talent do they have on defense? doesn't look like much), Falcons (did they really get rid of Matt Schaub instead of Michael Vick?), Cardinals (they're actually pretty good on paper, but they've won 1 playoff game since the 40s), Seahawks (is there a more over-the-hill team than these guys?), Rams (can they go through a game without allowing 200 rushing yards?), and 49ers (they've spent alot on free agents, but isn't that usually not a good thing?).

The Super Bowl is going to be predictable once again. When has there ever been a Super Bowl where the result wasn't already determined prior to kickoff?

" The Seattle Seahawks are probably the best shot in the NFC. They have a good all around team. "

Seattle will be lucky to NOT finish 4th in their division. If Arizona finds an offensive line, St. Louis finds a defense, and the big money spending spree pays off in San Fransisco, all three of those teams will sweep Seattle in regular season matchups.

Carolina if David Carr is the starting quarterback, New Orleans, or maybe a surprise team from the NFC West are the only possible contenders for those AFC powerhouses.

I would have to go with Dallas. The Cowboys were the first team to beat the Colts last year. They struggled down the stretch but that was because injuries on defense left their pass rush weakened which in turn made their coverage even worse. Now they are healthy and they drafted the second best pure pass rusher in the draft in Anthony Spencer. This defense will be scary (look what Wade Philips did for San Diego.) And if it was Dallas vs. San Diego, Wade Philips knows that defense like the back of his hand.

Saints are the only team in the NFC that can give one of those teams a REAL shot at their money. Maybe the Eagles but their defense needs to play consistently against the run and against good teams.

The Cowboys, Saints, and Eagles could have a chance to beat the Chargers and the Pats, but I think all three could beat Indy.

Well, going back to last year, Dallas beat the Colts ending their undefeated season hopes. That proves that any team can beat another team on any given day. So, my answer is yes

The Seattle Seahawks are probably the best shot in the NFC. They have a good all around team.
