Calvin Johnson is good for another 3 or 4 wins for the team, It will be hard to determine who to double team, Johnson, or Roy Williams..and that will leave Furrier open, who led the team in catches last year. Drew Stanton will have no impact this year, or probably next year whatsoever......Jon Kitna GUARANTEED double digit wins this year, when interviewd at the Superbowl, by Bill Simonson, from the Huge show radio program.

I'll be surprised if Johnson gets more then 40 catches for 600 yards and 5 TD's as a rookie, but if he has that production as the 3rd receiver then you could say he had an impact.
Stanton won't see action until the Lions are out of the playoffs or Kitna is injured, either way he won't have an impact in 2007.

Johnson will have a big impact. He's the best player to come out in a long time. Usually WR's take a while to get good, but i think he will be an exception.
Stanton will not see the field. He will take 2-3 years to become ready. The timing will work well with when Kitna is ready to hang it up.

Hopefully. In my mind, Stanton was the 3rd best QB in the draft. I hope they can make a dangerous tandom and hope they can have a similar offense in the future with Stanton-Willimas-Johnson-Jones just like the Manning-Harrison-Wayne-James tandom. Since I'm a Colts fan and Detroit fan, of course i'll be rooting for another HoF combo. Stanton might not have an impact this year unless Kitna plays so horrible that he makes Grossman look good.

Next season, no. But in a year or two yes. I can see Stanton getting some playing time this year and possibly the starting job next year and everyone knows the lions have drafted every top reciver in the past 6 years. So you know they have the talent they just need to prove it again.
