I was at a Zydeco festival and as I surveyed the crowd I saw a couple, man & woman who were the definition of ugliness... 2 baggers.

The music began and they looked at each other with love and began to dance. Right in front of me they were transformed into a beautiful couple... their love for each other was so apparent and it transformed how they appeared.

It was a real lesson to me of the old phrase that "beauty is inside a person"

Have you ever witnessed such a transformation?

i need somebody to talk to, because I feel i am slipping away from Jesus. I have been miserable for many months now, and I am becoming anorexic, unhappy, and rebellious. Why, WHY??!!! I need to talk to a believer, please!!! I DONT WANT to lose my faith, I know it is a good, true, and wonderful thing to have. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life ... why can't I realize that??

Im confused as the TV is showing Wukuf in Arafah which i thought would result in tomorrow being Hari Raya Haji.
However, all over Msia the date for Haj celebration is on the 20th of December.
Then, what justifies it?

Should we just stop speaking out? Just check my profile, especially that first link, to know that we are in fact speaking out and holding rallies the world over in condemnation of the terrorists. They're harming us, too, you know. If you wanted to look at the hadith about it, it even says to not kill your own species (humans).

So should the Muslims here just forget about showing that we don't all want to kill people? Should we stop encouraging peace, tolerance, and understanding and just let you keep on with the thought that we all want to come after you (superiority complex much??)

I think so. I think I'm just going to stop promoting any kind of peace or tolerance here. Your minds are set already. We get it, you hate all of us and want us dead. You think we all want to harm you and your families, we get it. You think we worship the moon and what not.

Do any other Muslims feel this way? Like we should just forget about these people and concentrate on our lives?

I just need your prayers that I feel the peace of God with me that day dispite my sins. Can you pray for me chrisitans? I need support. I found out that the blood that is in my urine a lot (not all the time) is coming from my colon, as I had an ultrasound last week and my bladder and kidney was normal. I am becoming more fatuge and Iron deficient, and tired. My back pain is of and on all the time si it is a consistant thing with me as part of the desease. Has anyone on here had colon cancer or know anyone that has got it or had it? I am battling a lot of constipation and get more regularly dark blood in my stool. I have thrush on my tounge now, and on Friday they will tell me the next step. It will not be too much longer before they cut me open in surgery. Please pray that I feel the peace of God on that day. Thank you christians and may God bless you.

I watched Joel Osteen yesterday preaching "you are a child of the most high God." The problem with sermons is that thinking people can't ask questions to the preacher. I would like to know if retarded people, homeless people, and people in third-world countries are also "children of the most high God" as well...and if God will take them places they never dreamed of?

I've met this great guy.He's God actually.In the start it was so great- full of love, inspired me for the bright future coming by being wtih Him, promising me rewards, giving me meaning in life.

But I found out about His extremely violent history. He tells me He loves me, but added if I ever leave him he's going to torture me so badly and he'll never let it stop. Some say I'll just disappear one day,but that's still not love! He's gonna do it to most of the world too. It's so terrifying. His older brother-Judaism-doesn't care who's with Him or not, so long as you're nice he'll let everyone in his happy home.

Doesn't He realise I'd love to stay with Him if he just didn't threaten to kill and abandon me for eternity?I don't even plan on leaving Him- i'm too terrified given all the dead who face the torture- but it's hard to respect Him for threatening me.

Do I stay with Him to prevent the future abuse he'll give me? I guess I have no choice. But how to I love someone like that?

that priests took out his name and put "GOD" or "LORD" in every place it says "jehovah"
i mean. i'm not a jehovah's witness or anything, but i just want to know the truth. it doens't really matter to me what god's name is, or if he doesn't even have a name. i'm just curious...

John Hagee recently said in an interview that should Iran not comply with the U.S and Israel, a " PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE" should occur from the U.S. Others are saying John Hagee is endorsing war to speed up proficy. I believe murder is murder, plain and simple. John Hagee said war has been since the beginning of time basically and it was proficized.
I had alot of respect for John Hagee until he endorsed war...What is your position ? Do you believe we live in an ERA of Jesus returning shortly ? Thanks so much !
