Discrimination is a social evil .. hinduism never asked us to discriminate on the basis of Varna.

Hinduisms' varna system is to tell that there are four type of people

Those with lower mind who do menial jobs (shudra)
Those who have desires and do business (Vaishya)
Those who are brave and fight for country( Kshatriya)
Those who have mind on God (Brahmana)

These four type of people are found all over in world in all relgions....

The discrimination is an outcome of social misunderstanding, and it was futher fired by Mogul and christian invaders, to increase their strength

Shri Rama, ate the half eaten fruit from a shudra woman ... to prove that God does not approve discrimination

Shri Krishna declared in Geeta that all the people of four varna have Moksha as their birth right.... just declaring the futility of discrimination

Two incarnations of God have told us not to discriminate on caste... but it goes as social evil... and in India even muslims, sikhs and christians discriminate on basis of caste...

it is is more a problem of India than hinduism

First of all I'd like to disagree with the word discrimination used here. Varna system was never intended to discriminate but was to facilitate the functioning of the society.

Coming to the question, what more proof is required when the Lord Himself says that all the 4 varnas emanate from Him so all are equal and have the right to attain Moksha.

The Varna system recognized the ability of a person thereby putting his abilities to use for the better of the society. Say if a person was good in studies and had an inclination towards teaching he was a Bramhana by DEED as he gained knowledge and dispersed it too. Similarly if someone was good at warfare, he would be a Kshatriya again by his DEEDS and not just because of his birth. that was teh original System. With time and invasions, curruption happened in this system and people used this distribution of duties as discriminatory tools adn we stand today where we stand debating the varna system as discriminatory.

The Varna system is supposed to be based on the deeds rather than on birth.

Gita clearly states the four varnas(please note that the meaning is not caste,it also means class) is divided as per guna and karma(qualities and actions), hence it is not at all by birth. Chaturvarnyam maya shrushtam guna karma vibhagashaya.

It is said that it is only in the last 1000 years the aberration of caste by birth has set in which is mostly attributed to the reaction to the goings on by the foreign rulers in India,-700 years by one group and 300 years by another.

Sharp you are pulling a fast one us., by leaving off the rest of the sentence.
"Chaturvarnyam maya shrushtam guna karma vibhagashaya"
So where did you read birth in that sentence?

It is a chart of labor division. In a work place there is an organization chart, it is not for discrimination.
People at different level do get different benifits.

Deeds, a Brahmin is one who leads the life of a Brahmin and so for others.
Caste system existing today is totally distorted like many other things in this world and meaningless.

I really cant understand what Christianity teaches!!
Your questions seem to prove that it preaches slandering of religious philosophies of others religions for absolutely no reason!!
Hinduism never spoke of any discrimination or casteism at allll ..casteism is purely a social evil
As per karma and mentality of last birth people take birth as Brahmins, kshatriyas, Shudras and Vaishyas and for his own spiritual progerss and to contribute in perfect functioning of the society each has to carry out his occupation and dharma /prescribed regulative principles properly

The natural dharma of a brahmin is to perform the activities of the priest, control his senses, lead a life of austerity, not try to accumulate material possessions ,he should be wise, spiritual and should be well versed in shastras, vedas etc , remain satisfied with whatever he gets, guide the other people as per religion etc. A brahmin is to be served and protected by all other varnas If priests would have to worry about earnng bread and butter who would do thier work?
Kshatriyas are brave by nature and thier natural dharma is protect the other varnas and look after the political affairs of the country
Vaishyas are traders, farmers and house holders

Shudras are to serve the other varnas and do the work they are capable of doing but each varna has to fulfill duties for other varna and not just Shudras

Each varna as per thier nature ,way of life and mentality has to live a life according to prescribed dharma and manner so as to reap the maximum benefit of the human life

EDIT- AND ONE MORE THING-IT IS HINDUISM AND HINDUISM ONLY AND NOT CHRISTIANITY THAT SAYS GOD RESIDES IN ALL LIVING CREATURES- ANIMALS, BIRDS OR HUMANS. HINDUISM GIVES ATTENTION TO BIRDS AND ANIMALS TOO . There is no better example of compassion and equality. (Gita also says - " A saint sees aatma/ soul in dog eater and any other as one") I doubt that Christianity says that - Christianity says there is no "spirit " in animals and birds. Christianity does not see God in creatures , not even in human beings

Four categories* indicate our tendencies (samskara) rather than physical body. Depending upon tendencies, a Brahmin can have Shudra son and vice versa. Also as we evolve in our life, we move from Shudra to Brahmin tendencies.

Also note that diversity is the law of nature. We all are unique foot print of same one Consciousness. Division and structure comes from mischievous mind. Hence problem lies in the mentality of people and not with Hinduism.

* Note : Four categories of tendencies are -
1. Service class known as Shudra e.g. timid mind
2. Business class known as Vaishya e.g. calculative mind
3. Fighter class known as Kshatriya e.g. aggressive and corrective mind
4. Realized and evolved class known as Brahmin e.g. Satvic (pure and light) mind
