A high percentage of Athiests are Caucasians;
I was just wondering why the people with the most believe in God the least.

In all of the religions that you may know of, which one do you believe is most accurate? As far as what to worship, who to believe, etc.

"...and when I came up out of the water I found myself face to face with what looked like a sun..it was so close to me that it almost filled my peripheral vision...I noticed that blackness seemed to surround it. For some reason it didn't light up the room, but it almost blinded me. It seemed alive and full of love for me. Time stopped and it was just me and this light. The water seemed electrified. My body energy accelerated. Information began downloading directly into my mind. I found myself reviewing my entire life and fully understanding the meaning of everything that ever happened to me, but I understood more than that...I could see all of time as a single occurring event...and my place within the all of it...the experience lasted all night.....evening and morning were the 5th day..." Supposedly this happened during a baptism and I'm highly curious about it. Got input?

If man is created in God's image, then does God urinate or defecate? Does God lust for things, and does God have greed? If God truly created us in his image, then why is there a need for religion? Wouldn't humans just act in a holy manner without being told to do so? Is God a hemaphrodite, since there are two different genders present in the human race? There are many attributes that are related to humans that are not related to God, but wouldn't we have them if we were created in God's image?

How did you respond?

It has happened a couple times and it is fun watching them backpeddle and try to explain what they really meant when I informed them of my religion. I knew them so I didnt really hold it against them. I thought it was really funny watching them squirm for a couple minutes. (they didnt hold that against me either, lol)

If you believe the claim that Muslims are silent, what do you think of what this site has to say? We are not silent. It seems that those who have made up their minds to hate all of us have selective hearing. How does this make you feel and what do you think of this?

http://theamericanmuslim.org/tam.php/features/articles/selective_hearing_of_muslim_voices_against_extremism_and_terrorism/0012212

A recent article “The silence of the American Muslim community on terrorism speaks loudly” by JIm Ragano* is typical of the selective hearing of those who have made up their minds about Islam and Muslims.

“The American Muslim,” an important Islamic organ and one that claims the label of “moderate Muslim,” is hypersensitive to the feelings of many Americans that Muslims are silent on terrorism. TAM states that “Muslims are accused of not speaking up or of not speaking up loudly or clearly enough.

Have any of you gotten into buddhism?

I'm familiar that most forms of buddhism are atheistic, and I consider myself to be pretty spiritual.

Do you think buddhism would be a good path to try, or have any of you tried this path and found it to be a waste of time?

I've left an open challenge for one atheist here, and he has blocked me!

My goodness!

Atheists: can you tell me without being immature why atheists are so sure of their beliefs until they're challenged and then they put up the shielding?

You would think that, with all that reliance on reproducable science and non-reproducable religion that this would be a cakewalk for you guys!

All ideological fads eventually exhaust their credibility. In my judgment, the time is right for mounting an effective intellectual challenge to the greatest and most influential of the pseudosciences of modernism. -- Phillip Johnson

Darwinists of both the theistic and atheistic varieties are trained to assume the truth of the Darwinian theory as a matter of first principle.

Critics who ask whether the theory is true therefore seem to be misunderstanding some basic step in the reasoning. It is as if they were demanding to know whether truth is true. Hence the universal Darwinist response to such critics is to dismiss them because they do not understand "how science works."
