I am a Christian and I know that the Bible isn't perfect. It isn't difficult to see that. But the reason why I trust what it says is because I and the Bible were produced because of inspiration. My faith in it that is, I was produced by inspiration of another sort! lol
But the reason why I trust what the Bible says is because the same Spirit that inspired the Bible inspired me to understand it. Without the Spirit of God, you will not trust God. God chooses who will be able to understand it.
Otherwise, it's just another ancient book with all kinds of flaws. When a person is inspired by God, it becomes an understandable book, full of life.

Dictionaries have been around for a long time too. Their spelling of words and explanations are still relevant. The Bible is much the same. There are many things in life that we may not fully understand or can adequately explain but that doesn't mean they are unreal or don't work. One example- -I don't understand how a tiny apple seed can grow into a tree and produce more apples...but it does. Could the Bible follow the same sort of line? Yes.

The Holy Bible is the only Book that gives us the past, present and our future.
Some interpreted it in different ways. The same scenario, people have the option to believe the Bible their way., but what matters in the end is that you believe God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.
And yes The Holy Bible is perfect!

While you can interpret the Bible however God reviles it to you.
The Bible is the only Book the is completely True. Science is slowly proving the Bible to be 100% true. No other book has done that.

The Bible is inspired by God Himself, The Holy Spirit is your instructor. You must be Spiritually minded to understand things of the Spirit, you are carnally minded, ( This has been determined by your question ) what you need is a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus. This is not religion. Religion is man attempting to please God, something he cannot do, that is why God became flesh, in the person of Jesus Christ, and did it for man. Now you have to accept Jesus as your personal savior and accept the Holy Spirit as your guide. You will be regenerated, changed from the inside, your spiritual eyes will be opened, and you will be filled with a joy that surpasses all understanding.
God be with you,
William, a bond-servant of Jesus

I don't believe the Bible is perfect. I know that it was hand-copied for centuries by men. What was to stop them from changing things here and there?

When the whole Bible is taken and studied, each verse in light of all the the others around it, not pulled out of context, its meaning on the vast majority of doctrine is Chrystal Clear. The few things that people can legitimately disagree on without pulling verses out of context are minor, non-essential matters.
It is only when people pull verses out of context, or add to the scripture with their own traditions or even additional "scriptures" that the Bible becomes difficult to understand.

Its kind of confusing, but the earth is not perfect, the bible is a warning written by man taught through God. Heaven,Hell, and Earth God created them all. Need i say we are all created fearfully and wanderfully made.

So far secular history cannot prove that it is wrong. Many of the prophecies contained in it have actually come to pass down to the last detail. If it hasnt been proven wrong, why should I doubt it?

The Bible is an accounting of God's and Jesus' works. Some religions may not like the way other religions view it b/c it is either against their own religion or just doesnt make sense. The Bible is God's Word and that is wat makes it such an important book.
