No at most there agnostic. They don't know everything. If they knew 10% of everything( which noone does). That leaves 90% of everything they don't know. If you asked them if it was possible for god to exist in the other 90%, they'd have to say yes or they'd be lying. That means they have to admit there could be a god, which makes them agnostic :)

I consider myself to be an atheist, but with religion all around you, on the news, in the papers, friends etc., there is still a part of you that questions what religion is all about. I do think a lot about why we have religion, considering it causes 90% of the wars in the world, I'm quite sure that nothing will happen to me and I won't be damned to hell for not believing. There are just as many questions from atheists as there are from religious people. The only difference is, we ask "there is no God so why do you believe" and they say "there is a God so why do you NOT believe". We all have a personal choice and you would think you would be entitled to it, but when confronted with a religious question, why do we always have to take sides?

Of course there is such thing as an athiest. What a stupid thing to say. I should know because I am a devout athiest. I refuse to give all my faith to someone who may or may not exist. I refuse to believe that some higher being is responsible for all we see, say or do. Personally I prefer to give my thanks to those that truly deserve ot (i.e. nurses, doctors, serviceman, fireman, even the humble housewife). These are people who truly affect our lives and deserve our faith.

Just because you do not think so does not mean there is no such thing as an atheist. Similarly, just because you think there is a god does not mean there is one.

Think in your sense is just another word for "escape reality"

I've come across a number of people who claim to be atheist. I don't doubt their convictions even though I take an opposite view.

Is there such a thing as a deity? I don't think so!

If you don't believe in Quetzalcoatl, then you are in fact atheistic towards the existence of that particular deity.

You don't believe in Quetzalcoatl (this is, of course, an assumption, but a safe bet).

You are an atheist.

QED, atheists exist.

Not surprised. Most christees refuse to accept the obvious. Why should you be any different. Wrong use of the comma in your first sentence, by the way.

Yes. When people make such stupid statements, they discredit themselves.

Why don't you think so? I do not believe that there is a god, ergo I am an atheist. Now, that wasn't too difficult to understand, was it?
