That might explain why he hasn't had the time to come back to this world, although he has had a couple of thousand years.

Supposedly, Jesus had to die because Adam and Eve committed the "original sin". Since the inhabitants of other planets would not be descended from Adam and Eve, they should not need Jesus to do anything for them.
If there are sentient aliens on other worlds, then the bible would seem to indicate that they should probably still be in their own versions of the Garden of Eden, unless they happened to take the "Fruit of Knowledge" bait too. They would supposedly be able to communicate with God just like Adam did before he "fell".
If we ever happen to meet extraterrestrials, it will be very interesting to see if they have any knowledge of Jesus or Jehovah at all. I suspect they won't.

that's a gnostic gospel. It wasn't interior the canon. probable as a results of fact those gnostic gospels mixed Greek philosophic questioning in (e.g they often taught that each little thing cloth is depraved and each little thing spirit is sweet). even though it is authentic the dominion of God is now, and yet to be. you could enter into, and journey a number of it now. even though it is going to basically come into fulfilment traditionally interior the destiny, and likewise interior the non secular realm of heaven. yet frankly (now) human beings do not stay long, and in case you study some historic previous, you will see there is a brilliant number of undesirable stuff taking place. There never has been an perfect society in the international. human beings is additionally effected through ailment, conflict, calamity, God forbid for you or me, even though it is oftentimes so, now. although i think of there is a brilliant number of coaching on making a success of existence right here and now. of course existence could properly be confusing for some, so it is clever to word of what's previous this shortish time now.

Considering that Jesus was a human being, and that it is highly unlikely there are human beings elsewhere in the universe, something tells me that he didn't go to different worlds to spread Christianity.

Whether he did or not, I'm not concerned. If that's what he did before coming to earth, that's his business, not mine.
