Should we just stop speaking out? Just check my profile, especially that first link, to know that we are in fact speaking out and holding rallies the world over in condemnation of the terrorists. They're harming us, too, you know. If you wanted to look at the hadith about it, it even says to not kill your own species (humans).

So should the Muslims here just forget about showing that we don't all want to kill people? Should we stop encouraging peace, tolerance, and understanding and just let you keep on with the thought that we all want to come after you (superiority complex much??)

I think so. I think I'm just going to stop promoting any kind of peace or tolerance here. Your minds are set already. We get it, you hate all of us and want us dead. You think we all want to harm you and your families, we get it. You think we worship the moon and what not.

Do any other Muslims feel this way? Like we should just forget about these people and concentrate on our lives?

Listen don't give up peace and tolerance because there are fools that do not do this. Don't let other people makeup your mind for you. Me I side with you and choose peace. And most others here that are even atheists and religious want peace also.

I'm not muslim but worked and lived in Saudi Arabia. And I have a number of muslim friends. The 9/11 terrorists were a minority. Americans like to generalize. When Timothy McVeigh blew up te building in Oklahoma City everyone thorght a muslim terrorist. But they sure shut up when it was a domestic home grown ex Army terrorist.

Islam is a religion of peace. But the study of the Crusades sets the mindset. Western history distorts true events. I studied it in college. The Christians in the Crusades were far worse than the muslims had been.

Unfortinately too much Arab royalty and rich boys come to America. They often give a bad representation of Islam. The students that come and others pretty much blend in are honest and kind, but the good unnoticed the bad readily noticed.

Take notice here and in the real world. Aboit 25% hate muslims. The other 75% don't. But you will notice the minority and see that as all. It's not. Simply forget and ignore the 25% Talk and exchange views with the majority.

Working towards peace within the Islamic communities is vital. Telling non-muslim's about how peaceful you are is a waste of time, western societies already accept other religions so we are only concerned that your religion is the breeding ground for very violent movements that are potentially the most serious in the world at the moment.

I'm not against all Muslims.

I am against any violent person who opposes democracy, secular governance, and complete freedom of speech and behavior (so long as it does not harm anyone else).

Look at Christian missionaries in Africa. They've set the populations there into a new dark ages, and there are reports of children being killed or injured by nails in the brain because preachers accuse them of witchcraft. That's as bad, if not worse than what the Muslims in the Sudan did when they called for the execution of a teacher over a stuffed animal. I oppose any sort of extremism or violence.

Please, keep speaking up. I'll admit that I dislike religion in general and find large percentages of Muslims who are either anti-Semitic, against western civilization (for its perceived hedonism), and secular government, but that is not reflective of everybody.

Cool down -- I don't want anyone dead, I just want to discuss all sorts of superstition in Western countries and elsewhere. But don't take my position as a way to put down your rights-- freedom is the name of the game, and I'll gladly defend your rights to be a Muslim in a tolerant country.

I honestly settle for as real with you, with the acception that the Muslim community does not have the braveness to stand up in opposition to terrorism being partly precise. that may not ever precise in any admire. Many Muslims brazenly protest terrorism corresponding to myself. the downside is that the bias anti-Islamic (and without concern Zionist) media possibilities and chooses what to rfile, so why could it ever %. to rfile something nicely approximately Muslims? it incredibly is been spreading lies and rumors and misconceptions approximately Islam for an prolonged time, and there are adequate ignorant people to think of all of it. look at my internet e book on my Yahoo! 360 Profile...it extremely is dedicated to denouncing terrorism, and in case you have a 360, please upload me as your chum and fact on my internet e book...I even have not been on 360 for a whilst now that college began even even with the incontrovertible fact that... Azure S: astonishing factors and respond! Agreed! by using the terrific way, there are extremely a pair of Islamic agencies dedicated to condemning terrorism, corresponding to MAT (Muslims against Terrorism). dark Prince: an corporation like that already exists :) And it incredibly is noted as MAT (Muslims against Terrorism). however the media could in no way show that it exists provided that, good, frankly, why will could it? The media is anti-Islamic.

Well, I'm not a Muslim, but I admit I've felt like that. I think the problem stems from within yourself. When we try so hard to change people's views, we're bound to be disappointed, because all are free to choose their own thoughts and actions... We can't change someone else.

The most powerful way to INFLUENCE other people is simply to love them, and accept them, and show them how to love themselves (if you can). Forget about trying to change people to live by your laws... share your truth in a spirit of love.

God/Allah has everything very well planned, and he knows each of our hearts. Trust him to do his own work. He can and will. You are just an instrument. When people know God's love, THEN they want to obey his laws. Love builds faith. Faith is the foundation of all action.

Listen,

Many people on this site are hateful, and against you.
Many people on this site are hateful, and against me.
As a matter of fact, the people on this site contain many ignorant people who preach hate, and will not listen.
I ask you not judge us all for the actions of the few (and loud) who are stupid.

The Christians here tend to feel the same way, in that no matter what anyone says, the Athiests feel all Christians are fanatics who want to convert or kill anyone who differs in beliefs.

People on Yahoo Answers are nuts; I beg of you not to judge all Christians/Jews/Muslims/Buddhists/Athiests by what you read here.

God is Great; regardless of the name used for him, be it Allah, Jehovah, Adonai, or Ahura Mazda.

Keep trying. Not all of us feel that way against you. I think sometimes the media goes on and on making some of it worse than it is. Its not helping that the media aren't interviewing you or you aren't stepping up and speaking louder. Glen Beck said he will interview any of you so you can get your point out there. Most of us realize whats going on anyway. I'm not Muslim but I care.

I'll agree with that line of thought.....these extremists seem to have an overwhelming "persecution complex" so lets justify it for them and exterminate the extremists like the vermin they are
