Here me out on this even though parts of it may sound corny, it is true. I've walked with the Lord for 19 years now, and I can attest to the truth of what I am about to say.
The Christian walk, in many ways is like a Journey, sometimes you are on a mountain top, high up, looking around and seeing the view of everything from as close to God's perspective as a human possibly can, you are happy, you feel God's presence with you at every moment, there is no doubt in heart.
Other times you find yourself in a green valley, things are not going well, and you wonder why God lets it happen, but it is still a rich green valley because you continue to be aware of God's presence and lean on Him for help.
Then there are times through the desert valley. It is dry. You don't necessarily FEEL God with you, you feel miserable, and the desert looks like it will never end. These times are hard, but they can strengthen you faith if you handle them properly. The first thing, when you are in the desert, you need water. In at least one verse the word of God is referred t as water. Drink from it every day even if you don't feel like it does any good, even if you don't want to, even if you don't seem to get anything out of it.
A good practice is to journal about what you read. Even if you don't get an amazing insight, you can write down something like, "Today I read Matthew Chapter 18, and I noticed in particular verses 1-6, where the disciples were arguing about who was greatest and who was the least, and Jesus showed them a child and told them to be like that child. It maid me think about how as Christians we want to be first, but Jesus always put others before Him, He wants us to be content wherever we are, and to treat others as more important than ourselves."
Then pray. You don't have to feel it to pray. Just pray. Talk to God about what you read. Tell Him you don't feel Him and you would like to. Invite Him to be with you that day.
Try worship music. Offer up to God a "sacrifice of praise". Get a CD with praise and worship music and put it on. Start singing along even if you don't feel anything. Offer your praises as a sacrifice to God, something you are doing even though you don't feel like it and don't seem to get anything out of it.
Another important thing is fellowship. Feel free to e-mail me, but that is not fellowship. You need to be getting together with other Christians. The purpose of Church is for the body of Christ to encourage, pray for, and challenge each other to growth, and to equip us to share the gospel. If you are not attending Church regularly; start. If you have never really felt like you belong at your church, then examine whether its teachings are biblical, if they are not find a church where they are. IF your church is biblical, and you don't feel a part of it, find some service you can do in the church. Even something as mundane as sweeping the floor after services, or helping set up communion on trays. An excellent way to meet more people in church is to be a greeter, the one who stands at the door and hands out the bulletin to people.
Set up an appointment to meet with the pastor, perhaps he can meet with you weekly for a while for a time of prayer and encouragement and counseling. If he is too busy, he may know another mature Christian who can take that time.
There are other times in our walk when we are climbing out of the desert valley. What I described again can be likened to climbing up over the rocks, struggling to get up the side of the valley. Its not fun, its not easy, but its worth it because eventually it will bring you back to the mountain again.
Feel free to e-mail me if you want. I'll be working today, but I'll check my e-mail when I get home.

You haven't lost your faith since you believe Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
You might be going through what St. John of the Cross called the Dark Night of the Soul.
Some people have been very confused about Mother Teresa's spiritual dryness recently. Mother Teresa kept on doing God's work despite that. In her early years she had a lot of ecstacy and then she became dry for many years. It takes more faith to hold on when you don't have the "feelings" than when you do.
Anyone can have faith is they have that Cloud 9 feeling with God. Your true faith is being tested right now. Straighten up be less rebellious and offer your unhappiness to our Lord Jesus Christ as a prayer.

The word FAITH can be described in the form of an acronym meaning. F= Forsaking A= All I = I T= Trust H= Him You must keep the faith which means you have to stop looking at the problem and look to the problem solver which is God. Remember: Faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things which are not seen. (Heb. 11:1) Keep in mind that your faith becomes strengthen by hearing the word of God, so if you're not in a position to hear the word that may indicate why and that you're faith is getting weak by not hearing the word preached to you. (Being apart of a local church). Also you're faith will be tested at times as well, so stay in prayer and ask God to equip you for every occasion of your life. People can be a christian for years and fail to use the GIFT of faith which is a from God. Eph 2:8 Check this out, many people receive gifts from many people weather from birthday's, christmas, and special moments thinking of others and we use them without hesitation, but we do not use the gift that God gave us to use which is the same tool along with His grace that saved us right? I hope this was able to encourage you and help you use your FAITH ok. Have blessed day!

I've gone through a time similar to this in the past. You need to refocus yourself. Make yourself spend time in God's word, make sure you pray, make sure you capture your negative thoughts and come back with truth from the word of God. Also find a Bible-believing church. You want a church with true-believer, not one of people putting on a show or simply making contacts.
When you have fellowship with believers, it helps you to grow.
If you do not take action to keep your faith alive, you may lose it. Don't let that happen.

Sometimes it's hard for me to keep myself clean of the world.
Find a prayer companion. If you would like we can talk. E-mail me. I will be your true friend in Jesus.
This is my favorite scripture at this time it has helped me a lot.
Roman 12:1-2
1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual[a] act of worship.
2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

You can talk to me anytime...
for right now, I will say in response to your plea that it may be time to reach out to Jesus and get to know Him personally. You may have been flying on a religious carpet which has been wisked out from under you.
They say you can miss heaven by 18 inches... the distance between your head and your heart.... you need to know the Lord Jesus personally, and when you have that relationship, NOTHING can take that away.
If all you have is religion; knowledge ABOUT Jesus, then that can be shaken.
So, I encourage you to take it to the personal level with God, get to know him as your Father through Jesus.
Jesus is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. The REAL Jesus, NOT the "fairy-tale only-on-the-pages-of-a-book" one....

first of all if you believe in the Son of God you have not lost any faith, you are just not walking in the faith you have been given. The enemy has convinced you that you have lost or are losing faith in Christ. Satan is playing you for a fool, but you are not. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus, satan is the fool, because when you get through this, you will be twice as strong. "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God." "man cannot live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" Go to His word (Holy Bible) and you will find His strength builds your strength. In weakness His strength is made perfect. Seek Him out and He will pull you through. Faith is as simple as needing the Savior. Look to His word and you will find you in Him. If you need, go to a pentecostal church and ask the pastor to lay hands on you and pray. Just be still and He will help you. hollar back

This psalm always helps me out when I have fallen into a hard patch in life, yes.
Psalm 23
and another Psalm which I recently stumbled upon
Psalm 43.
I shall pray for you, I'm always able to listen and I, more oft than not, can offer advice.
God bless and Merry Christmas to you.
Sincerely.

Hey there. Well, at least you know you can say that you need faith, even if you don't feel it very strongly right now. I will pray for you, but just know that I've felt the way you're feeling right now and it will pass if you hold on and look to God for your answers.
Remember that it is important to talk to other believers and fellowship with them. Going to church is definitely a good way to do this. Ask someone at church to pray for you while you're there and ask to speak to the pastor or another leader in the church for counseling. If they don't offer counseling, then find another church that does.
Hope you feel better. ((((Hug))))

Because you are human... you are weak and you get tempted most of the times. Try to empty your heart from the burdens of this world. Do you read your Bible regularly? Well, it may sound boring but all the answers to your questions are there. You will be renewed by God's word if you read it and of course, you pray. There will be times when it's hard to pray because there's so much you're thinking about. Just read the Bible. It will tell you what to do, where to go and how to handle things.

One night a man had a dream, He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord, Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest time in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
Lord, you said that once i decided to follow you , you'd walk with me all the way, But i have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when i need you the most you would leave me.
The Lord replied, My son, My precious child, i love you and would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, It was then that i carried you.
