The personal name of God should be in the Bible over 5000 times.
Even the Catholic Encyclopedia says that this is true.

However ,. to obscure the identity of God , and to try and promote the pagan trinity teaching the name has been removed and not taught by many religions.

Alternatively many churches teach that God's name is Jesus , and this is simply NOT true.

Jehovah is the most High God , ,,and it was his son , his first creation , Jesus that came to earth to provide the ransom sacrifice.

Currently there are only several different modern translations that have replaced the name into its correct positions.

It should be noted that in the English language , Jehovah is the correct rendition of Gods name.
In other languages , different spellings are however acceptable.

Some say , ''Well ,is it really important to know Gods name??'

The Bible says in Psalm 9:10 " And those knowing your name will trust in you, For you will certainly not leave those looking for you, O Jehovah."

Psalm 91:14 ". . .I shall also provide him with escape. I shall protect him because he has come to know my name."

So , YES , knowing who God really is , IS VERY important , in fact , our lives depend upon it.

Jehovah is a rather contrived version of the Hebrew name for God designated by four letters taken from Exodus 3:14, which correspond to the English letters YHWH, and are referred to as the tetragrammaton (4 letters). This is translated in the King James Version by the phrase "I Am That I AM", and is basically a declaration by God of His self-existent nature - being the uncreated, underived Being that precedes and supercedes all created things. Modern scholars generally pronounce the name as Yahweh, but no one really knows how the original name was pronounced. When you see the word LORD or GOD (all in caps) in the Old Testament text of certain Bible translations such as the KJV, RSV or NASB; it indicates the word in the original is this sacred name of God.

It is true.

Look at the preface of your Bible. They usually explain that wherever they put "LORD" or "GOD" in the text, there had been the tetragrammaton.

Knowing and using someone's name is the first step in getting to know them.

Yes. YHWH is in the original text 7000 times. The names true pronunciation has been lost over the years due to superstition, but it could be pronouced Yahweh or Jehovah.

GODs name is JEHOVA. priests have no interest in covering that up. GOD is referred to as JEHOVA many times in the bible. nobody has changed that.
