Since most religions see homosexuality as a choice, I was wondering how many people have chosen to be gay today???

And how are you dealing with suppressing your heterosexual feelings?

If you haven't chosen to be gay today, how are you dealing with suppressing your urge to go out and have homosexual relations?

What ever your religion, your beliefs about god, etc please be friendly and polite.
A question was asked yesterday with my question here within it towards atheists, but I had to ask the questioner twice until I got a response which he didn't make public like I asked.
Just because lots of people believe it doesn’t make it true, right, or wrong / incorrect so why or how can you think you are right without being supported by the majority which goes equally for science and religion except science has to be proven using the accepted methods to ensure reliability.
to clear this up to start with I have looked into many religious spiritual approaches to life asked allot of questions and come to my own beliefs using doubt and not assuming anything until I have evidence that can be validated without wishful thinking as this type of thinking is not useful in finding the truth.

I want to go back to the church, I’ve been going but I have not finished my sacraments. My husband wants to wait until February or March before we go to get things taken care of (because a lot needs to be done and money will be tight until the, among other reasons.) we shook on this and agreed it would be better to wait, But I have a problem, but I’ve been feeling God’s calling so strong, more so then ever. I believe that Jesus is his son and I accept him in to my heart. The problem is, I can’t stop sinning, a little here, a little there, but it keeps happening even when I don’t mean it.

Is it because I haven’t gone yet? Is it because I haven’t been cleansed by the holy spirit? Will he understand that we want to wait until February or will he be mad that I didn’t come running?

Based on answers previously on Yanswers, I am down to a concoction using venom for the following reasons:
1. historicity; the practice of giving cucifixion victims a stupefying agent seems well documented, and is supported by every respected bible reference i've consulted.
2. Practical elimination: every other substance I have seen mentioned (bile, plant galls, certain plants and mushrooms) either have no effect or would produce effects which surely have been noted, like convulsions.
3. Symptomatic: Various venoms produce the symptoms described in the gospels.
4. Dosing: Only venoms are completely ineffective if swallowed. They only work trans dermally and the mouth is the best site for transdermal administration, and especially so if there is a mouth injury, as is very likely considering Jesus' rough treatment.
I can only find one candidate, the Mediterrean viper, but I would like to think that a snake with neurotoxic venom is more likely. An other candidates?

they are 2 very different things. think about it.

as s/he/it says: love thy neighbor, turn the other cheek, humility, do not kill, etc.

as s/he/it does: punishes, prideful (a "jealous" god), murders, etc.

to name but a few inconsistencies

It could have potentially been a DUI, actually.

But the cop said Jesus is the reason for the season, and asked my friend if he agreed. He said that he did (although he actually doesn't) and the cop let him go.

Paraphrased- A certain man came to jesus, Nocodemus a Jew. (notice it states clearly he was a Jew) He asked Jesus. "tell me lord how can I (a Jew)get to your kingdom?" Jesus replied; "you must be born again". (not as a Jew). Jesus did not like Jews. They refused to worship him and his father Julius Caesar.
The idea that the ancient Roman cult of Caesar accepted a Jew as their god is pure ignorance of some important historical occurences.

Most Christians believe that if one has heard of Jesus, and does not believe he is the savior, then they will go to Hell.

But most people throughout history and over the world were raised in cultures that did not believe in Jesus. They may have heard a sentence or two, but never got the full picture, so how could they ever find him?

But they have heard a little and of course do not believe from that, that he is the son of God. So now they will go to Hell.

With that in mind, wouldn't it have been better for the first Christians to remain as quite as possible about Jesus (since the vast majority of people will never be convinced)?

If so why do they allow all the pagan rituals in our public schools , like halloween, christmas , easter valentines day so on. . I think the pagans have the biggest following of all and have managed to trick most of the people of the world to go along whith them. just as it was before Christ.

I had my first one that I can remember a few days ago --- unfortunately I don't remember the details but I do know that I was battling demons using the name of Jesus and that it seemed, for lack of a better term, epic.

Do you have these? Is this common? How have they impacted your life if you do have them?

There are only two options:
When Jesus comes back?.
Rev 22:7 Behold, I am coming soon!
Rev 22:12 Behold, I am coming soon!
Rev 22:20 Yes, I am coming soon.

Why has he taken so long to return? Why did you use the word ‘soon’ THREE TIMES? Maybe the 'gap theory' applies here too, 'soon' to Jesus could mean many years to us. However, the wording does embolden the faithful to remain steadfast.

When Christianity is dissolved?
In 1807 slavery was abolished by the British Parliament and finally in 1863 fifty-six years later, the Emancipation Proclamation was issued in America. In the USA, fashion seems to always be behind, or ‘catching up’ with European styles.

From non-American responses on RS and surveys from the European Commission website it seems that there is a growing populace of atheists in the world. However, the zealous passion from the Christian side makes me think that there is NOTHING that could get them to CONSIDER that what they believe could be wrong.
So when?
