They say there is no evidence that God exists. I say; there is no evidence that God does not exist either! It is not new that Christians are to believe by faith. God is so Big that he is everywhere at the same time.

3. "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words" (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

"concerning them which are asleep," If we die and go to heaven immediately, who are them which are asleep?

This is just one of so many filmed and photographed incidents of nature confirming my beliefs that Allah (swt) is indeed real. For me, that is, I don't want to force my beliefs onto anyone. But I do ask you to check out this video of a lion roaring the name of Allah (swt) multiple times.

What do you think of this?

It is said that god will judge believers and non-believers, living and dead, alike. Will non-believers be automatically condemned even if they never did an evil thing in their lives? What if they were not only good, but promoted nonviolence, love, peace, harmony, etc.?

I noticed that some believe neither of the two are if I have read their answers right. So I wanted another chance to present my view from the bible and allow others to give theirs also. This is a hot topic for me and since I've done the research, can I challenge their theory with the facts in a friendly approach to this ? I hope so....

ok, first people are trying to disprove other things. my favorite was " how do you know your parents gave birth to you, because they told you?"

DNA dumbass.

anyways, i have found that many people belive the bible because of their existance. now how do you know that is correct? humans being made from dust sounds pretty farfetched to me. evolution makes more sense then sudden creation. (as a creation-evolutionist, i believe that there was creation by the god-ess, then evolution took coarse, making animals and humans the way they are now). even if you could prove evolution wrong, and we were created, how do you know it was from dust? there are other religions and myths that say we got here in a different manner.

Please look at this bible calendar:
http://www.calendars.com/xq/asp/PID.1/MGID.26/IID.38221/qx/product.htm

It says it is from the Holy Bible -New International Version.

Would this be correct to give to a catholic priest? I don't know what the New International Version is. I certainly don't want to give an inappropriate gift to a priest. Help!

Religious people unite... and answer this question. What happens when a Christian person who lived life serving the lord dies? It's been established that the soul goes to heaven, but what then? Does the soul spend eternity in prayer? Does it just float around in limbo doing nothing?

In case you're wondering, yes, I am atheist. I'm just trying to understand the concept of being "saved".
