No, they do no longer look a cult. Jehovahs witness's do no longer look anymore of a cult than another faith. How could they be a cult? they at the instant are not appearing strange satanic rituals or out killing individuals? LOL! Wiccans do not believe in Satan! You're paying too much attention to the fundies. To assume that Wicca is a "Satanic Mind Control Enterprise" is *exactly* something an ignorant fundie would say and believe! You people aren't interested in knowing what Wiccans really believe, because if you were, you'd know that they don't believe in your Satan. Satan is Christian mythos, NOT Wiccan!
If you want to know the truth about Wicca, ask a Wiccan. Not an uneducated fundie.

Satanic?
There is no concept of Satan in Wicca. Satan is a Christian quasi-deity.
Mind Control?
By whom? It is not an organized religion. There is no hierarchy. Who exactly is it you see exercising this mind control? Who is being controlled? There is so much to explain
An Enterprise?
What purpose does it serve? Who does it benefit? There is no tithing, no financial offering and no way to make money off of Wiccans as a group.

Now that would be good trick. Satanic means from Satan and Satan is a christian invention. Wicca is a pagan religion and the pagans do not believe in Satan so can hardly be Satanic.
I know a number of Witches and they are not into any sort of mind control.

Wicca has nothing to do with Satan man, the devil is a Christian concept. Why do people always feel so threatened by the unknown! Why not learn and research about Wicca and Paganism before being so hypocritical of other peoples beliefs.

How long with Christians drag this out of the trash bin? Wicca is a loving religion that venerates nature, humanity, and the earth. Christian logic is so twisted at times: Wiccans, pagans, witches and heathens don't believe in Satan, therefore we must worship Satan because we deny his existence. Huh?
Other cultures and religions existed long before yours and they are just as valid and have nothing to do with your deity and demons.

Wicca as it exists in the modern world has no one governing or controlling authority unlike the churches. There are several organized Circles and groves in the U.S.A, but in the U.K the majority of Wiccans worship as individuals , or in small circles.
Wicca is a spiritual belief that recognizes that each one of us have a personal relationship with the Creator, which we see as Male, and Female. As such we have a duty of Care to ourselves, our planet and our own souls. As for mind control, a little difficult as each Wiccan will follow their own path , sharing their belief with others along the way. As for Satan, he is a fairly new concept. Originally their were Gods and Goddesses which were seen as Negative. but these were not evil. Later these were turned into the Devil, basically to frighten Children, and those of a certain mentality, into following the dictates of State and Church.
