ok, first people are trying to disprove other things. my favorite was " how do you know your parents gave birth to you, because they told you?"

DNA dumbass.

anyways, i have found that many people belive the bible because of their existance. now how do you know that is correct? humans being made from dust sounds pretty farfetched to me. evolution makes more sense then sudden creation. (as a creation-evolutionist, i believe that there was creation by the god-ess, then evolution took coarse, making animals and humans the way they are now). even if you could prove evolution wrong, and we were created, how do you know it was from dust? there are other religions and myths that say we got here in a different manner.

Well first of all, being the grammarian that I tend to be, if you want to both use words like "dumb ***" (as if we are in an actual conversation) and not use any correct capitalization, don't expect people to take you seriously.

Second of all: People saying things like "How do you know your parents gave birth to you?" are questions we asked in Sunday School. They don't really have any weight here, and this question isn't new. I will indulge, however.

The Bible is right, infallible to the extreme, because it has never been proven false. What you will find are people contradicting the Bible with the Bible. It's like telling rice that it's not actually rice. It doesn't work. People can find no outside proof that the Bible is wrong in any way. You try, it won't work.
The second reason I know the Bible works and is right is because it's amazing insight into the human mind. Surprisingly gentle at some times, and harsh without reservation at other times. It is perfect in every way.
Thirdly: Scientists have moved away from the evolution theory, despite the crowd on this site. Don't believe everything you hear, kid. It doesn't mean it's true. For example, if evolution were true, why can't we find any more evolved planets? We have documented over 200 planets with a 100 light year radius, and we have not found one that has even a near circular orbit like we do. In fact, the Earth is the only planet that sits at a perfect 23.5 degree angle for equal distribution of the suns rays. Why not with other planets? The air is a perfect combination of nitrogen and oxygen for life to exist. Why not on another planet? If evolution is so prevalent, why only have it on one planet? You would think that just one out of the 200 found so far would be at least close to earth standards. They aren't.
Evolution is a farce, always has been. Please believe in something less 90's. The Bible has been proven over and over again. I'd rather believe in something that hasn't changed in 6000 years rather than something that changes every 6 months.

For true Christians, we believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. There are 3 things that prove it is, therefore we believe it to be the truth.

1. The Bible is scenically correct. When the Bible was written people believed the earth was flat. In the Bible(OT) it refers to the earth as a sphere, the shape of a sphere is round. Only God would know this back then.

2. History. We know that people from back then did live. The Cesar's lived, Alexander the Great lived and he is in the Bible.

3. And this is the most important fact. Almost every prophecy that's been told in the Bible have come true. The only ones that haven't are for our day, the time of the end, Armageddon and what comes after that.

I have no problem believing the Bible at all, it's God's Word. God has never lied, Satan started that.

The nt is not right, but the ot is..Why do i say? because the ot is original hebrew text from our ancestors, writings that our creator commanded folks to record for future generations of His chosen, the decendants of Jacob(Israel) and anyone who clings to His words and follows them, plain and simple.Just like if i wrote a letter to someone and later i was gone and they found it,doesnt mean i never existed..I know we were from dust cause our creator says so.Who are we to question whos made us?Who r we to make Him out to be a liar?? But i do know that everyone is not His chosen, everyone does not follow Him.And those who dont are probably the ones thinking up all kinds of things they can to dismiss Him and give His glory to another, such as JChrist..Religion is made up,just like myths are not real, folks need to realise that.It was never a 'religion' it was only the way of life..We may change, our creator does not..The ot will explain a lot,and makes u realise the way we living is not right, and then u have a choice,to live for the world,or Him..Shalom

The Torah is correct because it has literally been handed down from generation to generation, UNCHANGED, since it was revealed at Sinai. The process of making a new copy of Torah is extremely rigorous and any new copy that contains an error is disposed of. I believe this to be true of the rest of the Tanakh as well..

I suggest you do some serious studies into astrology. Modern day astronomers will confirm without question the molecular structure and composition of the human. Oh by the way, this would be 21 century scientific proof of our "dust composition".

Even though I believe in God, I believe the Bible should never be read without objective, educated, guidance. So many people take it far too literally.

some things may never be answered on this Earth and we have to lean on faith. if you pose intellectual questions that you must have answered, you will find a hard time having faith. it's not a head thing, it's a heart thing. some things cannot be proven. trying to analyze Biblical truths will leave you with more questions sometimes. i have my own list i'm going to ask God when i get to heaven!

Do you want to know why I believe the bible to be true? Because if it wasn't, then it wouldn't have been able to change my life. If you knew what I once was compared to what I am now, you'd realize that there is truly power in the Word of God. There is no greater evidence to the veracity of the bible than a changed life.

What's funny about some of the answers above me is that they say that the bible has been proven. I keep asking for proof and all they can give us is that since they exist, so must 'he'.

The Bible has been probed, analyzed, scrutinized, and anything else you can think of. Yet it stands. You will find no other subject in all of history has been studied more. No part has ever been proved wrong.
