in response to a question i stated i was a legally ordained minister. i am. prov. of Mb. reg. cert. #c0576 if you care to verify it is public domain. you don't have to worship jesus to be a minister, there are a great many great religions out there, some yet to be discovered.one should not assume things i am a believer in man's oldest religion.if you know what that is u 2 must be comfortable. if u don't then u r probably still searching and jump to conclusions as u must try to prove your faith is THE true religion. that is what causes a lot of conflicts.

I consider "brainwashing" to be nothing more than being deceived regarding the truth of a matter.
Have you never considered that YOU are the ones that have been deceived into believing there is no God?

The purpose of the Vatican is to oversee the affairs of the Roman Catholic Church -- that should be simple enough. And, since religious issues often intertwine with political issues, the church does take a stand on certain things that involve how people's lives are lived.

People believe in this organization because of its sound theological doctrine, dogma, and of course its history and claims to be the one true church. If the Vatican is that corrupt, and not blessed by God, then shouldn't it have failed a very long time ago?

I'm speaking now of our beloved concept "irreducible complexity".

Please find me an example of irreducible complexity that has not already been disproven by legitimate scientists.

I'll do you the favor of pointing out that bacterial flagellum, wings and eyes have already been disproven so you don't have to waste keystrokes on them.

If the theory of eveolution is true and truest of evolutionary theory is the survival of the fittest, why have humans evolved into believing God? And if religion is so flawed, illogical and weak, why haven't be become extinct?

Here is another question of an extra credit. Why has God evolved?

i think that what ever religion you follow is the right one example if you are a christain then god is real and you will go to heaven hell or purgatory if you are a muslim then allah and muhammad is real and you will go to the islamic heaven or hell and if you are an atheist then nothing etc so all major religions and some smaller one are right and when a religion dies out ex the egyptian religion then their god(s) do not exist anymore

any good question i ask ,..(which fundies muslims & christians find it difficult to answer ) , ... get reported by them , for no reason ...( it is a shame, simply works on dictats of majority )

whenever they post long rants/advetisement about their religion , it stays there forever

shouldn't yahoo answers be thinking of putting a better reporting sytem in place ?

1 Corinthians 15:29. Excuse the version, it is the Living Bible version.

"If the dead will not be raised, then what point is there in people being baptized for those who are dead? Why do it unless the dead will someday rise again?"

That is very bizarre, being baptized for the dead. Did that only hold for the period at the time Christ died or does this hold true for us today?

If you met someone who was generally a nice person and you both got on well, and then you found out he or she was a Christian... would that make you mad or possibly hate/dislike them? Would you look at them differently?

No drinking and answering.

I do realize that some people who belive in "Hell" see it as separation from God, not *actually* punishment.

this is PRIMARILY for people who believe in a hell that is actaully punishment.

do you feel that YOU deserve eternal punishment? and if your answer is something to the effect of not deserving it, because of your belief in Jesus, then I mean if it were not for Jesus, would you? why?

I'm curious what crime people who believe they have comitted that is justly punished with an infinite punishment....
