i think that what ever religion you follow is the right one example if you are a christain then god is real and you will go to heaven hell or purgatory if you are a muslim then allah and muhammad is real and you will go to the islamic heaven or hell and if you are an atheist then nothing etc so all major religions and some smaller one are right and when a religion dies out ex the egyptian religion then their god(s) do not exist anymore

I think your view of religion is no worse than any other view I've seen. It's just as invalid and manufactured, but it's no worse.

This brings into question the idea of ultimate truth. "A" can not be "Non A" according to classical logic. Some things are true and others are not. The earth is more or less round (yes I know not perfectly) and not flat. No amount of believing that it is flat will make it so. One could believe that all is illusion around them, but I bet they still find it a lot less painful to walk through a doorway rather than trying to ram through an allegedly illusionary wall.
Theological relativism does not hold up well when pushed to its logical extreme. If one insists there is no ultimate truth, I need only ask if they are sure. Is it really and ULTIMATELY TRUE that there are no ultimate truths. Hopefully you see my point.
Truth is NOT dependent on feelings or preferences. Something is true whether we like it or not.
Contrary to popular opinion, major world religions DO NOT "all teach the same things." They have essential differences and only superficial agreements. All religions CANNOT be true, because they teach opposites.

I respect people of other faiths and admire their seeking to know God, but follow Jesus. He said "I am the way and the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me." (John 14:6) So Jesus is pretty exclusive about his teachings. If he is a prophet (as some say) or a great teacher (as others say), then one has to believe what he says.

Let's be quite sure about some of the myths around this one: The Bible tells you that the LORD God and the angels are in heaven and that the Lord Jesus Christ was taken up into heaven to sit on the right hand of the throne of God.

The Bible says that when we are dead we are dead until Jesus raises us up on his return with glory.

The Bible is the inspired word of God - God-breathed. In it we are told: 'But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8,9

Do read your Bible thoroughly while you have the opportunity.

Types of religion are a matter of geography. There is only one God & as long as you believe in that divine spirit with love in your heart & also show the same for your fellow man, then you will find your heaven.

There is difference in Mythology & Religion. Religion is God given, whereas Mythology is manmade.

God of Jewish, Christian & Muslims is the One & the Same God. Hence, there shall be one Paradise & one Gahanna for good doers & wrong doers, respectively.

Indeed, gods of mythology dies with the death of the ideology/ mythology but the God of Jewish, Christians, & Muslim is One, Everlasting, He is the First, He is the Last!

Here is how God explains Himself in Koran:

Say, ‘He is God, One,
God, the Everlasting Refuge,
who has not begotten, and has not been begotten,
and equal to Him is not any one.’

Your view lacks one essential ingredient - Truth. This [if you believe it exists and I do] does not change depending on our varying opinions and views. If God has revealed Himself [and I believe He has] then we need to pay attention.

Does it really matter what religion we believe - You better believe it does if you have any concern at all about eternity, this is not one you want to get wrong, it will have long-term implications....very long term in fact since eternity is endless

Open your eyes my friend look around you, open your ears and hear, open your mouth and speak to Him, open your heart and receive Him and know Him personally.

I think you're wishy washy and wanting to say that it's okay for folks to believe differently so long as they don't try to push their individual belief system(s) on you. Another issue is that the God of Islam and the Christian God are one and the same...just labeled differently. It's not about the name of God it's about the methodology of arriving wherever. PEACE!

honestly? i think that there is only 1 right religion. sorry if you disagree but God is the only god. there are no other gods. therefore even if you believe in the other gods, and even if you dont believe in the God i believe in only one god is real.

So in other words, only 1 religion is correct, and all the other ones are wrong. There is no switching around.

But you have to remember one thing that religion is man made. If you want a relationship with God, whoever you believe God is, then you must follow the teachings.

Thats all nice but the problem is if Yahweh exists then by nature Allah doesn't exist and vice versa. So either a religion is right or they are all wrong.
