I'm not a christian. I think Christianity started with the best intentions (e.g., be nice to other people, everyone is equal, that sort of thing), but it has since been overloaded with excessive dogma, probably due to the involvement of the catholic church early on.
Christianity, in my opinion, is a beneficial thing for our society to have, because it generally promotes striving to be decent people and helping others. On the other hand, the nature of christianity also carries the characteristic group mentality, where members of the group feel they are opposed to others outside of the group, which in turn causes a lot of judgmental attitudes and unpleasantness.
Like most things in life, Christianity has multiple facets, some good and some bad.

Honestly Christianity is the religion I like the least. I have absolutely no problems with Christians and what they believe in, however I despise Christians that preach and force their beliefs onto others. I have come across quite a few Christians that have told me what I believe in was a lie and if i don't convert I will go to "hell"...well bring on "hell" then. I have Christian friends, quite a few of them actually but they respect my beliefs and have not and will not patronize me for what I think or believe.

I think christianity, like ALL religions are nothing more than a cult. An excuse for some of the ones who belong in the cult to stick their noses in the air at the ones that do not belong to their specific cult and pretend their better. As you might have guessed, I'm an atheist, no better or worse than anyone else.

I am Christian. I love true Christianity that was taught and practiced in the time of the Apostles. But I have to say, what is being displayed today as Christianity, I am not pleased with. Christendom is turning into that whore in Rev that prostitutes herself with the world. The church in many ways has become a big business, a money making racket twisting scripture to support their sin. It pains me to see this.

I'm a Pagan who was adopted by an Episcopal Minister (dad) and a Methodist Pastor (mom).
I believe we all walk our own path in this life. What works for you, might not for me or anyone else.
Because of my parents, and a lot of friends, I have great respect for people who everyday try to follow the example of Jesus Christ.
I get frustrated with Christians who seem to be very judgmental or extremely legalistic. I think they give others a bad name.
But their are people like that in every faith, or sub - section of our nation and the world

i think if u look beneath all the crap u can find a positive message. all religions try to lead u to the top of the mountain persay. trying to enlighten u and connect u to god. i say all the crap the people who have claimed they were christian have done is unforgivable. in the early years they tried to destroy other religions like the celtic religion which i guess they still dont take too kindly to outside beliefs. not to mention the crusades or horny priests. the core of all religions remains the same, be at one with god. we should exemplify what gods traits are like generosity, compassion, forgiveness, acceptance, and love. when people carry out their own selfish political agenda and place the name of a religion or god in front of it then it pisses me off. it just so happens right now christianity and islam fall into the biggest threat category for loonies to abuse them.

It would depend on what 'christianity' you are referring to. American christianity? No. Scriptural Christianity? Most definitely. When the Scriptures are held up to the Church here in America, one can easily see a completely different concept.

I feel bad saying this, but I disdain Christianity, more specifically, Christians. I've had a lot of sh*tty things done to me by self-professed Christians, supposedly done to me "for my own good" and so that I might "find God"
Obviously, I am not a Christian.

I am not a Christian. Lots of Christians are great people. Some radical Christians are not so great.

It is an Abrahamic religion like Judaism and Islam.
I don't like it or hate it. I am not Christian. I believe it is a religion but it is not mine.
Peace
