If I missed church for a month straight, someone from my church would have been calling and knocking at my door to see if I was ok. I am sorry no one came to comfort you.
On the other hand, if you don't want to talk to anyone at Church about it, just tell them you had been very busy and are happy to be back at Church.
I pray you do have a believer to talk to. Just remember, God is always there for you. He love you no matter what!
You were mugged. It is not your fault. I think going to the confessional is if you committed a sin and have to confess. You did nothing wrong.

I'm LDS. I would just return to church and if anyone said they missed you - say you missed them too and are glad to be back! That way you are leaving the conversation on a positive note. If they ask why you were gone, just say personal reasons, and again, leave with the mention that you are glad you were missed and are happy to be back again. I think most people wouldn't pry into why you were gone if you left the conversation with that positive notion. And - don't dwell on the fact that you have been gone. Just jump in and treat it like you were on vacation or something. It's really no ones business but your own.

I was unaware that Jews had confession. If that is the practice of the temple where you attend, then you should do it to keep peace. The temple should have been notified while you were in the hospital so they could look after your needs.

I applaud your dedication to your faith, but this seems to go too far. It is not a sin to get mugged and have to miss services. Sin requires intentionality. If you did not get mugged on purpose so you could miss services, then you are clear.
If you are still worried, talk to your rabbi. If it makes you feel better, do a mikvah (good work) to atone for your absence.

"The kids have been sick."
"My mother was ill, but now she is better."
"We've been spending some family weekends together building our spirituality as a small unit. It's been great for the kids."
"My back went out and getting out of the house was difficult. All better now!"
"I've just had the flu and then strep and a couple bad colds!"
Oh, here's a good one "Appendectomy".

i'm very in contact in my church. i'm a discipleship instructor on Sunday mornings besides as a Greek and Hebrew instructor on Monday evenings. I take Seminary training on Tuesdays ( i'm engaged on my P.H.D). i flow to bible learn on Wednesday, and instruct a small team on Thursdays, and have a penitentiary ministry on Saturdays. in simple terms because of the fact I fill my time with the flaws of God , would not propose i'm extra powerful than every physique else. i understand what God has forgiven me for and that i'm so grateful!!!The comprehend God tells us that we are offered with a cost consequently we at the instant are not our very own. I belong to my Savior, Jesus Christ who paid for my sins. He replaced into my replace. by utilising his loss of lifestyles, burial, and resurrection, He gave me the prospect to to settle for the loose present of salvation that basically he gives you. come across a church that teaches the Bible and learn.approximately how superb our lord is!

Ok.. As i would say, Its a "None ya", but, if someone ask, just say you had some other things that came up. If they press the point, all you need say is I'd rather not talk about it, its rather personal and then move on.

Go back to church and tell people to pray for you b/c you are going through a hard time. You don't have to be specific.
