No, they are all different people, who have been born to the earth like all of us have. We all have to work out our own salvation. Jesus is the exception to this as he is the Son of God, and came to the earth to redeem all of us from our sins and errors. He is our Savior. To fulfill the demands of justice, that is that for each sin there must be a penalty, Christ suffered that penalty for each of us.

Who is John Smith? If you are referring to Joesph Smith, of Mormonism, we do not believe he was a God nor born of a virgin. We do believe he was a prophet. Like Isaiah or Moses.
Having studied both Islam and Buddism, I would venture to say that it is possible that Buddah and Mohammed were both prophets. I have not studied krishna.
But there is only one Jesus, born of a virgin, as the Son of God, who gave his life for us. All others that teach Truth, before or after the meridian of time, have testified of Jesus.

No Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes the Father, except through him.
Buddha is a false god, Mohamed is a false profit, John Smith's additions to the bible will get what the last paragraph in the Holy Bible promises and Krishna is false too.

Ok I'll do your homework for you here:
Buddha - considered a prophet...philosopher...no virgin mother
Mohammed - considered a prophet of God...no virgin mother
Jesus - considered a prophet by Jews...messiah by Christians...supposed virgin mother
John Smith - considered a latter day prophet or cult leader...no virgin mother...
Krishna - origins from Hindi but with Buddhist philosophies...no virgin mother...didn't have a mother...

You have dipped into the religious cookie jar. They are all from different religions. They are not the same person/spirit. As far as I know, ONLY Jesus claimed to be born of a virgin mother.

Good question. My personal belief is that while they are not the same person, they were sent by the same person (God) for the same purpose (to help, and to proclaim). If you look at most world religions, you'll notice a lot of similarities. All those people you just mentioned spoke of the same themes of love your neighbor, do unto others as you would have them do. Throughout those peoples lives, they experienced hardships and trials. They were outcasts and considered crazy by some people. They lived such similar lives that it does make you think. So I do think they were asked by God to proclaim his word to all people, but I don't think they are the same person. Different messengers for different people.

Buddha wasn't born of a virgin mother, nor did he claim to have the word of God.

if you really trace each and every history of those names you mentioned, you'll find that each and every one of them is totally different from the other...for example, only Jesus was born of a virgin mother, the others weren't....different prophets, different faiths, different stories...
