If so why do they allow all the pagan rituals in our public schools , like halloween, christmas , easter valentines day so on. . I think the pagans have the biggest following of all and have managed to trick most of the people of the world to go along whith them. just as it was before Christ.

paganism is NOT a religion, it is an unbrella term that applies to all religions that are not judeo-christian or islamic.

neo-paganism on the other hand IS a religion, or at least a group of them that roughly follow some similiar creed.

halloween is NOT a pagan holiday, samhain is.
halloween also known as all hollows eve was historically the day before the catholic holiday "All Hallows Mass".

as for christmas, they do not allow that holiday in schools, its termed winter holidays now. and easter is the same, its spring break. and valentines day is VERY secular.

no one was trying to trick anyone, its just that traditions have been mixed in the last 3k years.
shoot no one tricked shakespeare into adapting a 300 yr old story into romeo and juliet, it was just a really old story and he got some ideas from it, similiar to how the christians adapted parts of pagan culture into thier holidays.

More like paganism is the origin of all religions. You said: I think the pagans have the biggest following of all and have managed to trick most of the people of the world to go along with them. just as it was before Christ.

The truth is that Jesus Christ and the whole Christian fable comes from ancient pagan Egyptian mythology.
The birth, the resurrection, dying on the cross has all its roots in ancient astrotheology. Read up on your history and you will find out that when your pray to Jesus Christ you are actually praying to the sun in the sky.

Paganism is an umbrella term used to descibe the many branches of traditions and groups within Paganism...i.e. Wicca.
But in general convesaion you could usae the word pagan to infer the Faith you are speaking of.
And you most assuredly do have a problem.
We don't have to trick anyone to go along with us. The christian church has been doing that with your head, and everyone elses, for a very long time now. Longer than I care to remember.

Yes paganism is a religion.

All of those "rituals" are not working to get children to believe in paganism, as opposed to forced prayer or something similar.

Kids can have fun with things like Santa Claus, the Easter bunny, Cupid, and things like that because kids do not have to learn or understand the religion/faith behind them to still enjoy them. These figures are portrayed in a secular sense, not religious.

A good question,in a sense yes it is,it covers myriad of conotations though,I do not believe in a "deity" but I follow the cycle of the moon, respect for mother earth and a connection to nature and the creatures that inhabit her,do I pray...no I meditate and cultivate a sense of onesness and if that is religious then I guess I am,but no I do not follow an entity you cannot see or a book written by others that is supposedly how I am meant to live....pagans dont tend to try to trick you into anything, most I know keep themselves to themselves and socialise with like minded folk...

Yes Paganisn is a religion or rather a large number of different religions. I don't quite understand your use of the word trick.
I'm afraid if any religion is based on a trick it is Christianity as it stole all its major festivals, much of its ritual and sybolism and a lot of its theology from Pagan religions in order to trick people into following their horrible religion.
Io Saturnalia!
Hail Sol invictis
For instance Mithras the Sun God was born on the 25th of Dec. and his birth was witnessed by shepherds. Please note this festival predates the Christian festival of Christmas.

Paganism is a name for several different polytheistic and nature veneration religions. You probably didn't know that many of the things you do, and symbols you use for Easter and Christmas are pagan in origin.

Yes, its a religion.

Most people don't know where these holidays come from.
Like Christians stole Christmas and claimed it as Christ's birthday.

Its not Pagans tricking people its other religion.

Paganism is actually a group of religions. Pretty much any religion that isn't either Judaic in origin, or Buddhist or Hindu. And even the Buddhists are sometimes considered pagan.

(By the way, I'm considering the Muslim religion to be Judaic... since it is.)

Paganism is "many" religions. I am sorry, but I don't see them tricking people. I am a Christian and I am free in Christ.
