Please *do* read first.

I'm an Atheist myself, thus I have a very limited knowledge base of the story of Mohammad, and fankly, of Islam as a whole. I'm not perfect (I have said things that don't match my real personality and values, starnge enough), but I do know one thing about myself that I "never" doubt is that, I am *not* an ignorant person and I dislike biased facts. I try not being closed-mided, but it's hard for me, but I do try, nontheless. So I was thinking of reseaching who and what Mohammad and Islam *really* was and is, but then I thought: "maybe I should ask people who share relatively the same beliefs as me", to get *both* sides of the story and then compare to the hard fact. In a way you can think of this as me testing your knowledge of something that you may oppose to but at the same time but having a prespective of both sides. So, who do you guys thing Mohammed really was, and why does Islam focus so much on him? What's his importance in the religion?

telling the other to leave them alone? Really, why are we all on here anyway?????? HELLO, this is suppose to be a site to post questions and get answers. It doesn't say Atheists only, Christians Only, Muslims Only, JW's Only, etc.! WHY then do you come to this site if you are not looking to ask questions of other beliefs or answer questions about your beliefs?

REALLY, WHY?????????

judgemental or reactionary.
But so many christians today are.
I read so many questions and answers that say that they are trying to live their life like Jesus, but I cant tell.
Division is a major problem in this world today.
The church is suppossed to be the one place that "all are welcome and come as you are"
What's up, people?
A Spiritual experiance cannot always be expressed with words, alot of it comes from deeds and actions.
Please allow God to do what God does and if you witness,
witness with Love not judgement and condemnation.
Ok, I know I didnt really ask a question, but I am speaking with humility. Even if you feel reactionary to what I said can you say it with Love?
Oh Wait, I did ask a question lol

In the USA, women outnumber men by 7.8 million. New York alone has one
million more females as compared to the number of males, and of the male
population of New York one-third are gays i.e sodomites. The U.S.A as a whole
has more than twenty-five million gays. This means that these people do not
wish to marry women. Great Britain has four million more females as compared
to males. Germany has five million more females as compared to males. Russia
has nine million more females than males. God alone knows how many million
more females there are in the whole world as compared to males.
if all the men of the world get their desired life partner and marry them what would happen to the women for whom there would not be any man left? it is medically proven tht no women can stay virgin all her life. LOGICAL SOLUTION PLEASE

Did the ones who wrote the bible want more babies with the same believes?

Why else would it be "sinful"?

For example getting tattoos or piercings? Is it something people go to hell for since tattoos are pretty much irreversible? Confessing to a sin like that is pointless since you really can't do anything about it.

Just wonering

Thanks

How can you possibly believe in one but not the other?

At what point does god intervene and say:

"Ok that's enough you guys gotta cut that out, there will be no more genetic variation and adaption in your species, you keep this up and we'll have speciation, and we simply can't have that"
