Are these not, even in some small way, contradictory? One of the advantages of being an Atheist is the knowledge that there is only one life to live, and after that...oblivion (or 'Wormfood' as the less poetical of us will intone). This is all there is, so we'd best make the most of it.

That's certainly my stance. I'd also like to consider myself an Environmentalist...and recently I've been questioning why it is I care so much. In my lifetime there is likely to be some detrimental effect to the Environment, but not nearly as much as my next generation and the generation after that. Yet it's natural for me to have these concerns.

I suppose a lot of the pendants will tell me that all Atheism is the lack of belief in God, no more no less.

Anyway, what is your stance towards Athiesm and Environmentalism?

If God created the world in (6) days and took the (7th) day off, why didn't he go into work for a couple of hours on the (7th) day and create the Internet ? That way Mary and Joseph would have saved time looking for an Inn with a room.

We know he plays a big role in christianity, they say he is always there to fool people and to make them comit sins and everything, but does he play any part in the jewish religion?

you cant tell me that this isnt true, it is a fact men or more aggressive than women making it harder for him to make the right choice and statistics show this, wouldnt that give women a religious edge?

people tell us that God doesnt exist
im a beleiver that he is out there and that heaven is such a place and we do go there when we die
even if they prove it (and they never will cause God is real) i still wouldnt believe and put my faith in anyone else.

Is this a test in my Faith????
its soooo NOT good that im asking this question but id like to know if you ever feel this way.
