I guess it depends on what/who you mean by God. Are you saying you believe in the Judeo-Christian God or just a Higher Being type deal? Have you actually read the Bible and studied theology? I only ask because I used to say the same thing as you. Then I finally had to admit I'd never really read the Bible; I had mostly second-hand info. I finally started reading it not too long ago and also picked up some C.S. Lewis books- A Case for Christianity, Mere Christianity, and Beyond Personality. (I always thought he just wrote children's books, but apparently not). He offers some great logical explanations and insights, and I especially like him because he was an atheist for a long time and doesn't 'preach' at you. I've had to reevaluate everything I thought I believed about God.

I think a desit is a person who believes that god created the universe but takes no part in the day to day running of said universe. Such a person therefore does not believe in the bible stories --- so you might be a deist.

If you're not a deist, then you are something rather special and you can probably make up your own name for your religion.

Monotheist. If you believe in something else in addition to that however it could help further define your beliefs. For example, Deists believe in God in general but not the bible. However, Deists also believe God is a distant God instead of a personal God. If you believe God wants a personal relationship for you that puts you in another camp completely.

There is also the possibility that you believe in another version of the Bible. The Catholic Bible contains the complete writings collected in the 300's whereas the King James version and Protestant bibles removed seven books and some verses from Daniel. Many different editions and translations of scripture abound!

If you believe in the monotheistic God of Abraham that is represented in the Bible (but don't believe in the Bible), that would point toward Islam as the religion. If you believe in God ( a divine creator type person out there in the cosmos), then you are not at the point of being part of one particular faith, you are part of the New Age movement.

Well first of all you would not believe in the one true God. The Bible is all about God, so if you did not believe that then how could you believe in God. So what would that make you, that would make you a non-believer.

There are 3,000 different beliefs in a deity on Earth, so if you don't believe in the Bible (I believe in PARTS of the Bible because archeology backs up the Bible in places, and also refutes it in others). There are too many answers to list them all.

Uh, just about anything other than Christian, I would guess. Probably not Buddhist either. Lots of options though, aren't there? Lots of gods and goddesses out there that aren't based on the bible.
