Yes, dear heaven and hell actually exist, and are not just a "pigment" (smile) of your imagination. How do we know this? Well, the Word of God, which has confirmed so much of human history, amongst other things, mentions these places many, many times.

If you believe in the Bible then there is a Heaven. Now as to a place of torment. The bible tells us that hell is a bad place insomuch as there is no life. The bible words that have been translated into hell just mean the place we all go to in the end, and that is the grave. The lake of fire in Revelations is explained by the angel as being the second death. It is not logical for me to believe that God who is all loving would ever create a place of eternal torment.
But I would suggest that you do some real research on the subject and come to your own conclusion

Yes there is.
This gentleman was given a vision of hell and told to go tell people about it so that some might be saved and avoid it.

Then there is the good destination with the narrow door. Don Piper was declared dead in a head on car accident for 90 minutes.

There are only 2 options and the choices depend on how you live out this life. Good works, wisdom, enlightenment... none of these will gain you entry to heaven. God loved us so much that he sent his son to die and pay for the sins that we never could and if we make Jesus our Lord that narrow door is open to us. The great and the small can all enter but only if they have believed in God, Jesus as Lord, repented of their sins and tried to do God's will.
May you choose with wisdom of the mind and the heart!

Yes you are right. Heaven and Hell are only figments of imagination and it is for us to decide which one we want. Here I may tell you a joke.
--After his death a fellow was asked to choose either at the Gates. First he was shown Hell and to his surprise, people there were having a gala time, boozing, flirting and making merry.Next he was shown Heaven and there he found people riding clouds and playing string music.
Finally when asked to choose between the two our dead man preferred Hell .Sooner he was dispatched to Hell and to his surprise the people there were cutting wood and doing all sorts of filthy labour. One of long time residents confided to our dead man now twice dead, that they were as usual having a short break during work just for fun when he first saw them and he too was misled as he was shown Hell during such break.
The moral is we should not have any preconceived notion and we should make hell into heaven and of course not vice versa.

yes its true... I have read and heard some people having experienced death and came back to life thaty some went to see a wonderful , peaceful place called heaven and some went to a very dark , gloomy and very hot place called hell. So, I guess its true. Its in the bible too, and whoever believes in Jesus as their Lord and Savior will be saved.

Rather than thinking about heaven and hell and whether we would be benefited for our actions or will be rewarded for them it is better that we concentrate ourselves on how we are behaving right now. As per the law of nature whatever we do we will receive the reaction sooner or later.

They are not physical places, but you create your own heaven or hell in your mind. Think positively, pray affirmatively -it really makes a difference in life and afterwords.

The Bible tells us that there is not only life after death, but eternal life so glorious that “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, came to the earth to give us this gift of eternal life. “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

Well... like that person said... "no one really knows". But my belief is reincarnation.... we cycle many lifetimes to make things right, and to become a bettter soul. And only then will we will find the sanctity of heaven.
So according to my beliefs, we are in hell!
