Did the ones who wrote the bible want more babies with the same believes?
Why else would it be "sinful"?

Homosexuality, according to the Bible, is not a sin. Homosexuality is simply banned by the rabbis who wrote the old testament because when a man lies with a man instead of a woman, he cannot continue his family name.

Yes. Land, wealth and family succession would be jeopardised if babies were not produced. Religions needed future members to ensure it's continuation.
Christians are sexual perverts. They deny the natural order of free copulation, homosexuality and masturbation. Yet, they encourage women to follow their only acceptable female icons and be virgins (Virgin Mary/chastity) and prostitutes (Mary Magdalene).
Chastity and promiscuity over the natural order? What the f*ck is that all about?

i am not homosexual but i believe homosexuality is a not sin because God made us the way we are for a reason. i have some homosexual friends and they are the nicest people i know. i believe that homosexuals can change the world a different way to straight people.
if u feel a certain way to any one of any sex don't be ashamed of it and follow that feeling.

The early tribes of Jews forbid homosexuality because of that reason, they needed the offspring. Paul carried that into the New Testament era because he was originally a Jew and had a hatred for the pagan religions around him - so he condemned many things, including homosexuality.

That's not true! It defiles God's perfect image of marriage. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of the wretched sin, including doing wicked things homosexually. I don't know where you got your theory, but God had a perfect image of marriage between a MAN AND A WOMAN. There is no way that same-sex couples are not sinning against God. This is where I stand.

Duh.. the writers of the bible were expressing the beliefs and concerns of the time. A main one was keeping the population going. Thus they said homosexuality was a sin. Homosexuality is in fact NOT morally wrong but a natural variant of human sexuality.

No, Christians are scared of anything they dont understand. Its alot easier for them just to consider it bad instead of learning about it and accepting it. Its funny cause being gay is not a choice. Its just the way (God) made them. God loves the gays! Who else will join PETA????

Christians are obsessed with homosexuality. And no it is not a sin....there is no such thing. Just another christian invention used for control.
