HALLELUJAH!!!!!! Thank you my friend!

One would think it was obvious that this forum is open to all and that if one wishes to come here, one must be willing to permit people of other faiths and belief systems to come here in peace also.

The animosity seems to have been worse today. I was just about to log out in disgust when I saw your question. It brightened my heart to see someone being sensible and kind.

THANK YOU!

I can understand wanting to ask questions of a specific group of people. If you are a Christian, and want information or opinion based on that faith, you might not be interested in knowing what those of other faiths think. If you are a Muslim child, and want to discuss something you don't understand, it is reasonable to let people know that in the premise of the question.
The problem occurs when the question is baiting. When someone says "Atheists only", and proceeds to bash Atheism. Or "Christians only" and asks why you believe in an imaginary friend if you are over the age of 12. Those questions aren't questions, they are traps at best, and inflamatory if you want to be closer to the truth.

Much of these posts are ignorance on both sides of the fence. With very biased opinions of one or the other. There wouldn't be much questions to ask if atheists or christians were the only ones here because most of the posts are directed at either one. And it is very childish I might add, some of the questions I see on here. And it just tells you some people are not here to learn anything, but joke, insult, and make fun of other beliefs opposed to their own.

It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.

However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.

(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers

Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

My dear sister with the Santa Hat,

U do have a good question there. Kinda tricky and twisted. Atheists are the ones who don't believe and have questions... and Christians on the other had are the ones who has a spiritual life and believe.. so they answer.. which makes a perfect Q&A. Majority of the world population as of today are Christians and I'm not sure about Athesis.. because of that you will see lot of posts from these two relegions.

Peace!! and God bless you...

if that were the case then there would be no problem. however many times people (atheists and christians alike) post something or answer a question with the sole purpose of bashing or condemning. if everybody on here got past the fact that not everybody's brain works the same and we all understand things a bit differently then we would be taking a huge step forward.

faith is basically a form of issues. it extremely is totally very own and that i agree- no one is going to transform/deconvert every physique a minimum of no longer right here. All which will take place is the two events will depart the placed up the two feeling bitter or amused. the ingredient that places the gasoline in the fire is this "how would desire to you?" approach: some Christians in simple terms can't help feeling annoyed or offended with atheists because of the fact of their head they would be thinking "How would desire to you reject/mock/deem non-existent Christ?"- Jesus is needless to say the main intense individual interior Christianity and extremely on the factor of the hearts of all Christians. consequently Christians will discover they only can't discover peace with atheists because of the fact they have not got faith in Jesus and that's consequently a grave insult of varieties- like a individual who would not appreciate your brother, as an occasion. a similar ingredient applies with atheists. "How would desire to you..." worship a deity that sends human beings to a burning hell? persist with a perception that teaches that gays are evil and not human beings? sound off a doctrine that would not have faith in the equality of ladies? This and the certainty some Christians attempt to alter secular regulation, consequently making the guidelines of Christianity very nearly inescapable, is the reason some atheists in simple terms can't appreciate Christians. it extremely is unhappy yet it extremely is faith. I desire we could all get alongside too even though it extremely is going to never take place.

HELLO, this is suppose to be a site to post questions and get answers

Hate to brake this to you love, but most who post here are NOT looking for answers. Only a new and more vicious way to attack Christians. If you are honest and look at the post, 9 out of 10 are attacking, belittling, mocking or criticizing people of the Christian faith. Just look at the posts, if you doubt it.

Atheists is only capitalized at the beginning of a sentance. I agree with you somewhat. You do realize that atheists only is quite rare? We like other opinions, it's the fundies that only like people who agree with them.

What I've said... personally, is that I wish christians would leave me alone...in my LIFE, not on this forum. I don't mind them posting here, I only mind it when they ring my doorbell and tell me I'm going to hell. Do you see the difference?

As I've stated, I got no problems with theists. If they agree to keep religion out of the schools, government and the world, I'll help keep the truth out of their churches.

very good question. i have been on yahoo answers enough to get banned (this is my second incarnation) and always wondered about this.

it makes no sense. if Christians, Muslims, Atheists, Pagans, etc... simply want someone to agree with them, they need to frequent a website for their view or faith and leave the rest of us in peace.
