No, You must remember that Egypt had called for and had been killing all the Hebrew newborn boys for who knows how many years. This was God's punishment to Egypt . The plagues on Egypt were brought upon them by themselves. Just like now , you can send your self to hell by rejecting God or you can embrace and obey him and go to heaven .Its your choice . Its a no brainer if you ask me,Come to Christ.

No, because God had warned the king of Egypt, the Pharaoh, that this was going to happen. Capnarlo has it right: the Egyptians had been killing Hebrew baby boys for years. Moses was delivered from such a fate by God's grace. The command for the Hebrews to not commit murder (literal translation) didn't come until later.

When the Bible TELLS a story about the crime of killing babies, it doesn't mean it approves it. It's like when a witness tells the court about a crime he saw. It doesn't mean that he is the criminal.

Peace-salaam.
