I have suffered from silence on the part of God my entire life; despite my upbringing as a Christian, never have I felt or had conscious experience of a connection to God. These days I am an Atheist, but I am curious about the experience of those who have felt that connection, even communication, with God.

What has the experience been like for you, and how has it helped you in your life?

Or disguised as a peacemaker...I forgot the quote

" ...Marx had spoken of the interim phase of the dictatorship of the proletariat as a necessity which in time would automatically become redundant. This “intermediate phase” we know all too well, and we also know how it then developed, not ushering in a perfect world, but leaving behind a trail of appalling destruction. Marx not only omitted to work out how this new world would be organized—which should, of course, have been unnecessary. His silence on this matter follows logically from his chosen approach. His error lay deeper. He forgot that man always remains man. He forgot man and he forgot man's freedom. He forgot that freedom always remains also freedom for evil. He forgot man and he forgot man's freedom. He forgot that freedom always remains also freedom for evil. He thought that once the economy had been put right, everything would automatically be put right. His real error is materialism: man, in fact, is not merely the product of economic conditions, and it is not possible

In the New Testament, Jesus tells the apostles to eat his flesh and drink his blood so they may have eternal life. Vampires gain eternal life by drinking blood. The communion has always given me the serious willies!

Does anyone else see it this way and what are your thoughts on the issue?

In Koran there are 123 verses that tell how to kill unbelivers or people who don't believe in Islam. These verses where enforced through out the middle east and other parts of the world for hundreds of years.According to koran if people don't follow it's teachings they need to be killed. And after all that Muslims call themselves the religion of love and even Bush agreed with it in one of his speeches. What do you think?

God gave us tools that we can use of look at his creation. he created logic and reason, which we used to discover math, physics and chemistry, all gifts from god.

It is my view that what we find are messages directly from god. god telling us, 'this is who you are, this is where you come from.' 'Here are all these wonderful tools that you can use to make stuff, and build on your knowledge (technology).

How can we deny all that for some book that was written by that hand of man?

From this quote, what do you think? Do you think that in order to deserve the respect of his wife, a man must earn it? Or do you believe the same as extremists, that the thing between their legs is some kind of a big deal and merits respect even at the cost of life?

"There are so many forms of exploitation in the workplace: And there are so many in marriage. The husband who is 'out at work' from, say, nine to five, and then comes home and puts his feet up for the rest of the evening while his wife continues to work has forgotten something--she was also working nine to five, and very likely started long before that. This applies not only when the wife has a job outside the house, but also when she is working in the house. Many men find this hard to grasp, for some reason.

If you do and tell about actual experiences that you have seen about the religion then you get reported?

Are they both very insecure about their beliefs that they can not stand the truth about what a person may experience or see that their religions are like?
