If you do and tell about actual experiences that you have seen about the religion then you get reported?
Are they both very insecure about their beliefs that they can not stand the truth about what a person may experience or see that their religions are like?

Cadisney...I lived in Utah for 2 and 1/2 years while in the military. I did not even KNOW what a "Mormon" was when I went there. I saw polygamist colonies all around in the wide open. I also saw people lose their jobs just because they had stopped going to church. I have seen Mormons point blank terrorize people just because they didn't believe in what they did.
Again, I went there not knowing what the religion was in the first place. Lets say I was very naive before I went there.

Fifi...the fact that they were wanting to put a woman to death let alone PRISON for something that school children did, seems a little harsh, don't you think?

Glade...1. Yes, polygamists are Mormon...they are called "fundamentalists" and live life like the FOUNDERS of Mormon did. If you have a weak foundation, then the whole dam thing is weak.
2. As far as people being fired, life could be very difficult for them, laws or not when 90% of people who live in Utah are Mormons to begin with and they don't want to go against the elders. This is exactly why there should be a clear separation of church and state, where in reality there isn't in Utah.
I know a woman who was raped by her father, only to be cast aside for speaking the truth when she was an adult. They are not near as "accepting" as you are implying.

Gumby..ever hear of "Dugway Proving Grounds?" I am not going to tell you WHEN because I like my privacy. Dugway is in the desert 100 miles from SLC and is huge. 80 miles to Wendover Nevada. Need I say more?

Oh, and it proves that Mormons are intolerant because the only religion that will report ANYTHING at a drop of a hat are Mormons.

Great question. The simple answer is that these two religions both have the fraudulent and bizarre creations of their religions very well documented by members of those respective religions. Also, the embarassing facts about the founders of these two religions are readily available, and the brainwashed cult members don't like being reminded of the truth ! So they report you in hopes that your answer will be deleted and the truth exposed to less people

It is hard to believe that some people are telling truthful stories when their stories have complete falsehoods about mormon beliefs. I dont know how many times people have told stories about mormon bishops and leaders that told them they were going to all burn in hell.
Sorry it is hard to believe those stories when mormons dont even believe in the concept of burning in hell.
Dont you think people can be making up some of those stories to exaggerate their point or dislike for the religion?
I do believe that some people have had negative experiences with the mormon religion, usually with people in it. Mormons arent perfect. Some are downright jerks. If the story sounds sincere then I try to remind them that they arent behaving in a way they were taught to and that you really shouldnt judge all mormons or an entire religion on a few bad people. I would not want to be a non mormon living in Utah. I know that mormons there can be exclusive. I wouldnt even want to be a mormon living in Utah, lol, but a lot of california mormons feel that way.
I think when people share stories like these it is just trying to make the whole religion seem bad based on a few people. I dont think that is a very fair tactic.
Anyone practicing polygamy would be excommunicated if they were part of the official LDS church. Like I said, some mormons dont practice what they preach, big surprise. I wouldnt want to live in Utah. When you get a group of likeminded individuals, even when they are taught otherwise, they can get into a groupthink and cliquish mindset. There are a lot of mormons, esp in Utah, that really dont know anything outside their mormon world. All I can say is that they are taught not to be like that. There are also plenty of wonderful mormons in Utah that do practice what they preach, but once you have negative experiences with a group you will usually only focus on the negatives and tend to not really pay much attention to the positives.

I worked with a mormon for over 10 years. He was a "taker" and not a "giver". What I mean by that is anyway he could screw the company over he would do it to his advantage. I don't know if all mormons are like that or if that is what they teach, but I want no part of that funny business.
As far as muslims go, I know several. I even have a friend in iran that I chat with. She is a religious FANATIC. Its allright to take some things in moderation but don't overdose on it. The way that muslims treat basic things in life like pork and women, is enough for me to know that its a total crock of crap.
But those are my beliefs. hehehehe, I had a pork roast last nite in my convection oven, it was tremendous :)

" I saw polygamist colonies all around in the wide open. I also saw people lose their jobs just because they had stopped going to church. I have seen Mormons point blank terrorize people just because they didn't believe in what they did."
1. If you saw a polygamist colony, they weren't mormons...
2. If you knew ppl fired based on religious reasons, there are clear cut legal remedies...but I doubt that is true...

It's like other unspoken, rarely talked about "hush-hush" truths of life like...
-There is NO law mandating the payment of federal income tax, hence, the IRS are a bunch of gangsters
-There is rat hair in your peanut butter
-Wrinkles are an unavoidable part of life, but women seek to deny this with creams, injections and solutions
Sorry champ, it's just one of those things.

I don't know, I've only personally experienced good things with both groups so I guess I've not has this happen to me. I'd be interested to know what the experience of others has been that Y!A's has removed it.
Though I just had a question taken off: What do you think of Non-Christians celebrating Christmas? Apparently it is not a question. I don't think the moderators are also thinking critically when they do these things.
Don't worry about it to much. Perhaps just try to keep a respectful tone and be clear it is your own experience,
Actually, I've seen other questions similar to yours in other categories.

What truth? I have yet to see any truth about our religion that has not been posted by a member, or at least a neutral party. All the things that are posted in "questions" are distortions, or downright lies. And besides, I have yet to report anything besides crude things that ACTUALLY violate the rules on Answers. And I have not seen any member on here who is insecure.

I don't know about Mormons, but when people try to offend Islam they always just make up stuff like "Mohammed was a pedofile" or "Mohammed beat up his wives" where you get that from?
Or like "does Islam ask you to kill all infidels" wtf? of course not, as a matter of fact there's a whole page about how we should co-exist with each other and that everybody follow a different religion!

Judging from recent questions about Islam there does not appear to be any unwritten rule. What has been interesting is their response to the aggressive and violent verses in the Quaran. Some have excused them on the grounds they are out of date and another said they were to be used when necessary in self-defense - so 9/11 and 7/7 were self defense!
