I think that would take greater strides for evolution rather than religion.

The backyard of Eden is an actually geographical region and no-one says existence began in that backyard, in basic terms that Adam and Eve have been formed there. If there's a writer who made the universe from no longer something, then making a snake or donkey talk is vey concern-free to have self belief. no remember in case you're an atheist or a theist in case you change your interest to the initiating of each and every thing you finally could have self belief in an uncaused reason. the only distinction between theists and atheists in this understand is the label you place on the primal reason and the attributes you assign to it.

No. I don't think there's anywhere in the Bible that says "If donkeys start talking then you'll know this is all true." Jackasses talk all the time, and they haven't had any influence in making me "believe in Bible".

For me, it would be a disappointment to find out the bible is literally true. The richness of its symbolism would be lost.
