Bishop Irenaeus is a 2nd century Bishop and said Jesus was still alive between 98-117 CE .
Bishop Epiphanius is a 4th century Bishop and said Jesus was born between 73-4 BCE .

Or , did Jesus live until he was 120 years old and they are both correct ?

All answers have severe problems fitting Jesus into a Historical framework.

( Please Note , I don’t think Jesus ever Existed , I just want to know the lie of the land in Christendom among believers of the faith. )

Well, if Newton's Third Law says that "For EVERY action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.", then how does the entire scientific world make this one exception for gravity? And if matter is the "force" keeping you from falling, could it be possible that gravity is caused by antimatter?

I realize this probably has already been asked, but I don't come to this Yahoo stuff that often? sorry? I'm a former Roman Catholic, and now basically an agnostic. Wasn't Christianity established in 316 or 314 A.D. at the Council of Nicea?? You know the "Apostle's Creed" etc.?? My understanding is that Mormons don't subscribe to that credo? I'm an outsider these days, but if Mormons don't go along with that creed, then how can they be called "Christian"? Doesn't that delineate the issue??? Mormons are Not Christians by the generally accepted terms? This obviously ain't something new either?? why do I keep hearing all this debate crap on tv??

Some believe that a sense of morality can only come from a higher power and without that we would feel that we would be able to do anything without consequence.
First, is the reason you (specifically you) don't kill, rape, steal etc because you fear judgment and if so, do you think that is a noble reason to be good?
Second, would you agree that there are immoral acts glorified in a way by the bible that you know to be wrong (genocide, murder, bigotry etc)? If yes, how can you say that morality comes from the word of God if you can decide independently that it (genocide, murder, bigotry etc) is wrong?

There is a world of difference between knowing of someone and knowing him personally. Getting to know anyone takes time and effort. Getting to God may be particularly challenging given the fact that we can not see him. Is it worth the time and effort needed to get to know God closely?

Christianity has been very generous in allowing it's hero Jesus Christ 2000 years to get his act together. Do you think it's time Jesus stepped aside and allowed Santa to be the next God?

Whether you're a christian, a muslim, or an atheist, what do you think the meaning of life is?

I believe that the meaning of life is to perpetuate, and I believe that we try to influence those around us during our lifetime in order to perpetuate our own mentalities in a quest for immortalization.

Christians always like to say that atheists can't prove the non-existance of God. Athiests duly reply that there is no way to prove the Judaic Christian god is in fact THE God, and that god, according to their beliefs, could be the Queen of Sheba, Thatcher, or a satanic teapot orbiting somewhere in the Pleiades star cluster.
