It is known as God's love letter to His children. The old testament, the ways and history of man and the Jewish teachings. The new testament, the new beginning and Christ opened the way. Yes men wrote it but the words were spiritually inspired so it would seem if you are out of the spirit it seems not too good a book, but you must ask, then why do so many read it and turn to it, unless is it possible, it is real?
The amazing part of the bible is if you understand the prophets hundreds of years before Christs coming foretold that and it matched in words and deeds.

It is not a darn good piece of literature but to those who believe, it is the living Word of God.

Yes and it is also written in hidden codes. Only the Authors knows the true meaning beyond the written word. The Author Himself calls it "My Words , They are Spirit and They Live"
Definitely smarter than all godless people and religious people of course!

Not only is it good but contains the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true, and its decisions are immutable. Read it to be wise, believe it to be saved, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you. It is the traveler's map, the pilot's compass, the soldier's sword, and the Christian's charter. Here Paradise is restored, Heaven opened, and the gates of Hell disclosed. Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end.
