Christianity has been very generous in allowing it's hero Jesus Christ 2000 years to get his act together. Do you think it's time Jesus stepped aside and allowed Santa to be the next God?

How so? Everything the Prince of Peace predicted in Matthew 24 is happening now. These are warning signs he said. So cheer up, he is getting ready.

Read the books of Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Revelations, and Matthew Chapter 24. The Bible tells us in the end days the world will be like the days of Noah before the flood. Christ didn't come to make the world a place of total peace. Jesus knew what was to come. He came as the Lamb of God. He came to be sacrificed for our sins so that we could have a relationship with God and go to Heaven. As for you vote for Santa. If you wish to worship an Idol go ahead. Just know that Christ is coming back as the Lion of Judah and will rule. Christ will take his saved church with him and allow the Anti-Christ and Satan to have their season.

The world will get much worse then it is in now if Christs return is not for a while yet. I think instead of having Jesus standing aside maybe we should all give Jesus a go and see what will happen to this world and our life's

Yep. There is no such concept as a "second coming" in Judaism. The person claiming to be the Messiah fulfills each and every one of the prophecies during his lifetime, or he wasn't the Messiah. Period. That is the only criteria to be used to judge who is the real Messiah. Not miracles, not anything else. The total, complete, fulfillment of all of the prophecies ****during**** his lifetime. That includes no more war, peace on earth, no more illness, the 3rd Temple being built, etc. etc etc etc.

Obviously, Jesus wasn't the Messiah.

I thought the bible says in Matthew 10 I believe it is, " I came not to bring peace on earth, but a sword"

Christians have used this crap to justify killing millions of people, how dare you insult Jeebus/Horus by calling him the Prince of Peace...

Actually the entire thing is just a sun mythos, Jesus is the Sun in the age of Pisces, in Revelations he says he's the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end... the end of the zodiac which is Pisces, the beginning which is Aquarius... so look for the Roman Catholic Church to bring out their new age fake jebus to trick all the dumbed down bible thumpers into another 2,000 years of slavery... watch out though, they'll probably try to kill you if you're a heretic. This will probably all happen around 2012... big astronomical date, which is what the bible is mainly based upon.

At the end of Revelations, Jesus says, "Behold, I come quickly" 2000 years and counting. Interesting definition of quickly.

another thing to think about, is that according to some Christians the earth is only 6000 years old. Which means that we have been waiting for this quick return for 1/3 of all existence.

Jesus does perform. the world is in a mess, as you say, not because of what God/Jesus(or whomever your deity may be) has or has not done. The plain fact of the matter is that man was given free will - and that is what makes the mess not God.
If we were all were obedient as we were supposed to be then we would not be in this mess, but man asked for free will to make his own choices - and look where we are! Don't blame God blame yourselves. Check your religious texts.

I totally agree with you to some extent! Santa is just another Jesus! The 3 Eastern astrologers, soothsayers, or what have you who came to pay homage to the baby Jesus were practicing a sin that in the Bible carries the death sentence when caught! But since they were looking for Jesus in the stars it is OK! (Bible Ethics 101) These Heathen kings were very stupid! They came all the way to the Royal Palace of King Herod the Roman client King of the Jews to ask him candidly, "where is the newborn king of the Jews?... for we have seen his star in the East” and so on... BTW, this newborn king is the rightful king of the Jews!

God had to protect baby Jesus and told the Heathen kings not to go back to King Herod, but to sneak out of Judea without telling anybody (Bible Ethics 101). King Herod got mad and sent his troops with a royal order to slaughter all the Jewish baby boys up to 2 years of age. God said that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. A lot of innocent blood was shed at the birth of Jesus Christ!

The Jewish mothers who lost their babies were so upset that not even the Holy Ghost could comfort them. They "refused to be comforted!" (Mat 2:18) God comes up in a dream to Saint Joseph and tells him to wake up and take the baby Jesus Christ and scram to the forbidden land of Egypt in the middle of the night. The Jews were not supposed to return to Egypt ever again!

Jeremiah 42:18-19 (NIV) This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: 'As my anger and wrath have been poured out on those who lived in Jerusalem, so will my wrath be poured out on you when you go to Egypt. You will be an object of cursing and horror, of condemnation and reproach; you will never see this place again.' "O remnant of Judah, the LORD has told you, 'Do not go to Egypt.' Be sure of this: I warn you today

So when King Herod is exterminating all the Jewish baby boys in Judea it is OK to flee for cover to the friendly Nation of Egypt! God makes the rules as we play the game (Bible Ethics 101)

Christians pirated some Pagan holidays for the celebration of the birth of God the Son Jesus Christ otherwise they would have no celebration!

the only thank you to get peace is to kill all opposition to peace, meaning conflict which equals no peace. do no longer think of when you win that conflict that it would be over then, after fairly of peace people will start to combat and kill and disrupt your peace, so which you may ought to kill and kill to get peace. as quickly as you get peace the 1st time you are able to avert conflict by using forcing people to no longer argue, meaning that each ones elementary freedoms would be taken from them to "defend" them. this might reason hate against you and that they're going to revolt and reason civil conflict which will lead to bloodshed and for this reason harm your non violent peace regime. to quit conflict you opt for a sparkling international order, and that i in my opinion do no longer and somewhat some different individuals might strongly oppose that meaning there could be conflict to quit that. so in case you are able to discover there won't be able to be peace without conflict to hold peace which will reason conflict.

What was The Mission of Jesus Christ (pbuh)?
Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity for himself. He clearly announced the nature of his mission. Jesus (pbuh) was sent by God to confirm the previous Judaic law. This is clearly evident in the following statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in the Gospel of Mathew:
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the Prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
"For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." [Mathew 5:17-20]
