if it a false concept of God they blame such as the Calvinist or Wahabist god of fatalism and the people reject that concept for the God of Love and Compassion,that could well be a spiritual advancement
If people simple want to avoid responsibility and accountability for their vices and choises, then blaming God is simply childish or even malevolent and a spiritual regress

they are just worshippers of satan but enters the religious community by claiming that they are spritual. When they sucssefullay enters the community, then that start blaming God.
