Could all of mankind have lived in Garden of Eden (today) if Adma and Eve did not sin? Are there records (similar to the ark) on its dimensions?

With the exception of the occasional town-hall visit, marriages are typically associated with the various faiths. Having said that, where/how would an atheist get married? I might decide to get married one day, and as an agnostic, I'd like to know what my options are!

What do you think of the U.S. military and it's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy? Please state your religion after your opinion.

Excerpt from Wikipedia:

"the policy prohibits anyone who "demonstrate(s) a propensity or intent to engage in homosexual acts" from serving in the armed forces of the United States, because it "would create an unacceptable risk to the high standards of morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion that are the essence of military capability." The act prohibits any homosexual or bisexual person from disclosing his or her sexual orientation, or from speaking about any homosexual relationships, including marriages or other familial attributes, while serving in the United States armed forces."

"In 2005, the Government Accountability Office released estimates on the cost of the policy. Cautioning that the amount may be too low, The GAO reported $95.4 million in recruiting costs and $95.1 million for training replacements for the 9,488 troops discharged"

im a new paster at the 1st fumc church.
my problem is that i need some views on revelations 3:7-13
What is the background of your passage?
• Who is the author?
• Who is the letter being written to?
• Why was the letter written
o What do you notice about the recipients of the letter (e.g. whether Jew or Greek, whether wealthy or slave; their problems, attitudes, etc.)
o What is the author’s attitude?
o What is mentioned as to the specific occasion of the letter?
o Are there any words or phrases that need to be defined?
o Are there any Old Testament references within your passages? What is the background of these?
thank you and god bless each and evey one of you
may the lord be with you from now and forever more

That just doesnt seem fair if they do! How could God possibly justify that? All good people should go to heaven right?

I know about repenting and all that, but why did God kill the only perfect person he ever created when he knew everyone past, present and future would continue just the same (even more nowadays).

Also what was going to happen had he not crucified Jesus?

This is very confusing..

oh by the way, if you're going to cut and paste from an online bible PLEASE make sure it answers my question

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved." - I understand this but if it were true , the world would be saved, and it's not... the world is more or less the same as it was in biblical times.. Why did Jesus have to die? he could've just told everyone to repent and shown himself for once to show he's not playing around.

our children need parents, teachers and other authority figures who don't just recite the Golden Rule and the Ten Commandments, but who actually live by them. -Sheila Suess

I am a Christian and I have noticed that a lot of fellow Christians attack athiests that question their faith...

I have done this also..It is hard not to get offended by such an attack. But aren't we supposed to show love towards everyone, even if they are not a believer?? Just wondering...

Can you answer this with proof please. I am wondering if Micheal is an acceptable Muslim name. I have been told by some that any name that is not offensive and has a good meaning is an acceptable Muslim name. Then some tell me the name must be in arabic. Well Mikail is the name Michael in arabic. Micheal is the name of the angel mentioned in Quran 2:98.
