We love Him because he first loved us and gave His life for us....
In this is The love of God demonstrated that while we were yet sinners Jesus died for the ungodly......
Herein is the love of God revealed....
Love you neighbor as you love yourself....
The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by The Holy Spirit.....
Love is a matter of the heart no matter how you look at it and anyone that is saying the love you and not show that they love you is either lying or just has never known what an unconditional love is. There are many out there that do not. They have only known or been taught a physical love or a conditional love. i truely feel sorry for these. We can not knock them. It is all they know. I love because I have LEARNED how to love, unconditionally. Not because a "religion" tells me but because now that I have Christ in me, he leads me. Now I do not have to work at it. He does it through me.
God Bless

There are many forms of so called Love. There is only one pure Love and that comes from God. We share that Love given to us by our spirit. We may think it is ours to give but unless we open the channel consciously or subconsciously as well it will not come through. We may think it is our Love but in reality. Love is something we can only pass on.
The Love we have for a Dog or can will be different than the Love we have for food. The love we feel for a human may be a different level for a horse. Pure Love is given with no strings attached. We can Love others because we feel attached and their is no divine connection to our thoughts. Some think sex is Loving someone.
This can be but usually there is a reward attached. Pure Love is unconditional. I Love others because I feel it from my heart and enjoy giving as well as receiving Love. The words of Jesus are a constant reminder that we are to love everyone, even our enemies.
Artiest are no exception.
Love seeks not itself, yet what you sew, so shall you reap.

For the most part, I have little to no capacity to love others. Sure, it is easy to love my friends, my wife and children. But, beyond that, I have no capacity to love others. However, the Holy Spirit has put it in my heart to have compassion on others.
This is not just because I am "asked to". Yes, I know what is written and I desire to do God's will. But, I pray and ask Him to show me how to love others. I don't want to have a fake, plastic, put-on sort of love, but a real, compassionate, giving kind of love, as Jesus had shown us while He walked the Earth. This is how the Holy Spirit guides and helps me, to show me how to have that kind of love.

I have no religion. The love I show comes from my heart.

I show love because I can't help myself. Atheist - I definitely pray for them. However, tell me your sad story and I am sobbing right along side with you and probably alot harder then you are crying. Now, if you make me angry and hurt me I do get angry and I go pray to God. I tell Him all about it and always remind myself what God has said. "Justice is mine declares the Lord." But really feel love for the person - probably not. But I will pray for God to show them the truth and for His intervention. Once in awhile I do start shouting back but most times - no. So, it has nothing to do with my religion.

Love cannot come from religion. It comes from Christ filling your heart and you reflect that love to the world. This is what is called showing the love of Christ to the world. It is done in word and deed. Much like Mother Teresa reflected the love of Christ by showing how much she cared for others with her great deeds of humanitarianism. It becomes more than words when you know Jesus lives in your heart. It is a way of life. It is a way to let our light shine so that others may find the way to Christ. We love because we were first loved by One who taught us to love!

You should show love because you truly feel love for people. We should feel love for others because God first loved us. Also, God tells us to love others. Therefore, we should really try our best to do so.

If it doesn't come from your heart, it is not genuine.
This does not apply to religion at all - because it is about being human and being in touch with your own spirit and heart. Religion doesn't come into it.
Religion leads people astray when it goes against your own inner feelings and awareness - teaching you not to trust in your own heart and feelings, etc.

if it does not come from your heart, then it is not love. love is love. it can only come from the heart. anything else is a lie. one loves for the sake of loving. not for show.
