Besides being just plain loud and unpleasant sounding? As a Christian I do not celebrate this holiday which is NOT the birthday of Christ and actually has it's roots in paganism. Despite this I too find this song offensive. "Sorry about that nailed to cross thing"? How can anyone minimize Christs sufferings that way?

Urm... i think that song was kinda scary, but not that there is any real scary stuff in that song. It's so loud and rock and sounded unholy. Hahah... it does not sound like the usual christmas songs that I listen to. I would say all those shouting by the band members do not depict who Jesus is because Christmas songs just won't be christmas if it didn't sounded soothing and warm.

Because some Christians believe that all rock music is satanic. It doesn't matter if they sing I'm a Christian over and over again, it will still be considered satanic by some.

Well apparently your friend is one of those who is deeply under mind control and any hint of "blasphemy" is offensive and is sure to draw criticism.

Ask her to define blasphemy and back it up with Biblical citation. Then sit back and enjoy the show.

No, I don't think it's blasphemous in the least. Actually, I thought it was pretty funny.

Not my kind of music though. I prefer singers who actually...what's the word I'm looking for?...ah yes, SING.
