God gave us tools that we can use of look at his creation. he created logic and reason, which we used to discover math, physics and chemistry, all gifts from god.

It is my view that what we find are messages directly from god. god telling us, 'this is who you are, this is where you come from.' 'Here are all these wonderful tools that you can use to make stuff, and build on your knowledge (technology).

How can we deny all that for some book that was written by that hand of man?

so I'm saying that god created logic and gave us reason (over a few billion years of natural selection). Then we used that to discover science. with that we invented technology, including writing. Then we could record all our fantacies and story telling, which is where the BIBLE came from.

Science and faith are not polar opposites in my mind and he gave us a little knowledge and most we use it is to piss and moan on either side

If God gave us all these wonderful tools, why did it take so long just to invent the wheel? Why has technology only made rapid advancements in the last 100 years?

Surely, if God gave us the knowledge we would have used it straight away, not waited 4-6,000 years.

A little problem there. You must prove, or at least provide evidence that supports god's existence, since that hasn't been done (and probably never will) you can't have it as a factor in science, it defeats the whole purpose.
