In Koran there are 123 verses that tell how to kill unbelivers or people who don't believe in Islam.These verses where enforced through out the middle east and other parts of the world for hundreds of years.According to koran if people don't follow it's teachings they need to be killed.And after all that Muslims call themselves the religion of love and even Bush agreed with it in one of his speeches.What do you think?

The society also inhibits interaction between the genders, so much of the poetry in Islamic countries is about the subject (a man) professing his love for the beautiful, unattainable object of his affection (a woman) in ways that make the bards of the middle ages who sang of 'Courtly Love' look like rank amateurs.

I'm sure if I went through the Bible I would find many, many verses regarding the killing of people or God's wrath being so strong he slaughtered people. People will find what they want to find.

The Holy Koran is a record of the exact words of God revealed to Muhammad through visitations of the Angel Gabriel. I doubt very much that God or Allah as the Muslims called the Creator would have given instructions in 123 verses on how to kill an unbeliever. There are verses dealing with the conversion of unbelievers and warnings that if they remained steadfast in their denial and persecution of Islam, they would be condemned to hell. I do not believe in Hell, but neither do I believe in the misinformation you put forth with your question. And why does nobody talk about the years of persecution brought against the followers of Muhammad in the early days of the religion. How they were literally beaten and tortured and forced to renounce the new religion. This was mainly because they pronounced their belief in the ONENESS of God and spoke out against idol worship which was common among the Arabic clans at that time. It seems it is so easy to denounce a religion without doing some real historical research on it.

I personally don't like Bushes' political agenda. His words aren't the law, it's his misinformed and unclear interpretation of a few terrorists using Islam to describe them and generalizing the majority of Islam with them. Islam is a religion of peace.

In ISLAM it does not need someone to embrace it or to criticise it. ISLAM is by god for god. AND NO MUSLIM cares about what you think of it. WE MUSLIMS BELIEVE THAT ISLAM IS PROTECTED BY GOD HIMSELF. If that was not the case, the Koran which is over a 1000+ years would've been changed and rephrased like the Bible. The Koran stayed original and we have MILLIONS OF MUSLIMS who memorize the entire Koran by heart, and can tell any changes if made.

pricey Brother, i'm unable to respond to for someone else. i can listen for your anger and distain for Injustice. the individuals of any and all religions are in basic terms as genuine as they percieve themselves. All mankinds Hatred, Pains, Killings are not any more led to by ability of agencies. they are led to by ability of the "EGO" of the individuals in skill of those communities. All that i can "Justly" pray for is that you do not stick with of their footsteps and may the right thanks to conquer your ego so as no longer to change into as they were.
