I asked earlier about homosexuality and there was no place in the bible that talked about it. How about abortion? Is this another "My minister tell me it's thar so I believes him" or is there a passage somewhere that talks about it.

teach children to be good but we never tell a child how to hit cause he/she doesn't get their way. Why is a child so selfish always screaming mine, why do we have to teach them how to share. If sin was made up why are kids so sinful.

Ok be a bit open minded here, If we knew aliens existed and we're on a similar or superior state of conciousness, would they share the same fate as us at the end?

I need to write a kind of diary entry of how I interpret the word "student". It could be done in a creative way, in an academic way, or in a mixed way, etc. But I'm currently out of thoughts and I need some ideas. Give this a try and help me out please? =)

Also, I'm placing this here on purpose.... Sorry people, lol. I just prefer this category because people are not afraid to stand up for their beliefs/thoughts. =) I hope this is okay.

Inherent in the idea of false gods are that they were invented by humankind. The Christian God is believed to be the originator of the universe and all living things. If, for example, the ancient Greeks invented their gods (such as Zeus), then why not apply the same idea to the Christian god as well? Be logical in your answer.

The question "How do simple organic molecules form a protocell?"
Relatively short RNA molecules could have spontaneously formed. That is a big “could have spontaneously formed”. About 10 to the 10th power? Higher or Lower. Someone convince me that the probability of this occurring is still in the realm of reality or has it moved into fairytale land.

When does probability step aside to reality?

Is it a sin to say this, which is said to be a spell but seems no more then words.

Pregnancy Spell

Repeat to each direction ( east, west, et)
" To you my child, my body is open,
To you my child, my mind is open.
To you my child, my heart is open.
By Earth, Fire, Wind, and Sea,
Into my arms you will be."

( Last two lines are said while looking at your cradled arms")

If it is, is there any prayer in the bible for pregnancy/conception?

Why do people condemn those who believe in works? If someone has accepted Christ as their Saviour but also believes in works, does it really matter? They have already accepted the atonement. What is your biblical basis for saying that works are unacceptable? How does it matter one way or the other?

did any of you guys read in the papers, about that young 21 year old girl who had given birth to two twins and refused a blood transfusion and died as a result, because of her religious beliefs, she still refused despite medics telling her that she would die,? i found this very hard to take in, how can a religious belief over power maternal instincts? and surely "jehovah" would forgive this poor girl, if she had that transfusion, for the sake of her and her new babies?

if there is any jehovahs reading this, what wud you do in this situation? would you choose your religion before your babies?? and die as a result?

what are your views on it?

Assuming for the sake of argument that a god exists, he has watched but remained silent and inevident through many thousands of years of war, rape, mass murder on a prodigious scale, agonising torture, unspeakable acts against the most innocent of children, burnings, dismemberment... an unimaginable catalogue of human suffering... so I was wondering, is there anything at all which would make him step in and say "enough is enough"? What scarcely conceivable horror would have to occur (or be about to occur) before he would come out of hiding and do something about it?
