Growing up, I excelled in numerous subjects. I was my parents' pride and joy. Even then, I was afraid that something would one day change me to make me turn my back on my morals and misuse all of the knowledge that I have gained from school.

One of my other fears is that my dad will soon die. He was sick for a while and got better. Still, I wonder what I would do if he did die. He is the main provider for my family, and I'm afraid that something like this would just push me over the edge. In times of anger and hatred, I have seen and discovered a side to myself that scares even me.

Help?

why do they believe they are alive?
can you just come on the earth for no apparent meaning?
come on there has to be more in their life than just to live and then die.

2 cases in the news regarding women being sentenced or possibly sentenced to receiving lashes for breaking Islamic law.
While I do not agree that the punishment fits the crime and indeed I personally feel corporal punishment of this kind is barbaric, the fact remains that both of those women broke the law of the country in which they were living.
So who is really at fault?

Recently the feeling has become overwhelming for her, she's been drinking heavily and doing a lot of sobbing over this issue. A few years ago she was pregnant but lost the baby. Right now she has everything going for her. She is a nurse, lives in a beautiful house with her boyfriend who is a doctor, but he already has teenage children and does not want to have any more.

Before you say "Check the Holy Bible" please realize that I've read it. I'm asking what YOUR definition of God is.

Since there will be many varying answers, what if anything does that say about the feasibility of any given religion getting it right? Is it important to get it right? Does your definition of God coincide with your religious teachings? Does it contradict some of them in any way? Are you honest enough to realize when it does?

Please avoid cutting and pasting, but if you must please keep it to a paragraph.

(I realize there is several questions there. Feel free to answer any, all or none of the extra questions, the Primary question is the most important.)

would killing Hitler in 1939 have been murder, or simply killing? And would it have been justified or not justified?

Say a young adult comes into your church and joins in activities, listens to pastor speeches carefully, generally a nice educated person who up holds strong moral and dignity. Does what God asks other Christians to do. He is open to suggestions, believes and changes. However he does not want to get baptized and officially become a Christian or offer prayers. What would you think and would you still welcome him as part of your Christian community and make him feel involved?

Can we say specifically who the two end times witnesses of God are at present times? or can any person specifically know if he is one.I am reading a book ( 2008 God's Final Witness ) about the end time and the Author Ronald Weinland Said he is one of the Two final end time Prophets that are about to be reveal.

This is an excerpt of what he said:
"The Next Step
It is now with boldness, confidence and great clarity that I give to you what God has given me. I am to announce, through God’s direct revelation, that I am one of those two witnesses. The other witness will be revealed to the world during the time of the great tribulation—within the final three and one-half years of man’s era.
How true could it be.? Please give me some insight here charistmatic. I am now in the revolutionary process in the christian faith.

For whom is it a religion of peace? Clearly, not for this poor school teacher who let her students name a class teddy bear Mohammed (watch link below).

Then, there is the poor woman in Saudi Arabia who has gotten herself set up for a punishment of 200 lashes, raised from 90 when the "court" decided that it did appreciate her taking her case to the level of the world media in an effort to influence (ease) the court's initial ruling of 90 lashes.

You've been doing your consulting business for several years, and always billed clients by the amount of time spent. Gradually, you have developed a scale based on the time a task usually takes, and produced a rate sheet for typical tasks. Now you have bought a computer and a printer that includes a fax (MFC?), and all your work has gotten much easier. You can handle a great many more clients now, because you don't spend anywhere near as much time per task as you used to.

Do you lower your rates? Why or why not?

Such as Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy. I find Catholicism pretty lifeless. I watched EWTN and the priests just seem to be going to through the motions. As if the actions were more important than the meaning behind them. I much prefer Protestantism because things are not so planned out, leaving more room for creativity and life.

The star of the football team is in your class. He's from a poor family, and could not be in college if it were not for his athletic scholarship. What's more, his coach is convinced he will make pro if he continues on the team and graduates with his class.

You review his work, his frequent absences, and cannot justify a grade above D. He must have a C or better in all his classes to keep his scholarship. He begs you to review his work, but the best you could do would be a D+ or, by stretching it, a C-.

Should you give him the C he has not earned to save his scholarship and his possible pro career?
