Which would you consider to be good and which one would you consider to be bad? Would you prefer that your Child gained knowledge or remained ignorant?

We are taught the the New Testament was written primarily to the anointed and the scriptures that talk about heavenly life don't apply to those of us who are of the great crowd.

So, my question is How do I know which scriptures in the NT apply to me and which ones don't.

Matthew 28:19, 20 says "Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit"

Wouldn't it be safe to assume that this scripture doesn't apply to me and therefore I don't have to spend hours out in service every month.After all Jesus was speaking to the 11 apostles at this time.

Or whose to say that the scripture at Hebrews 10:24,25 applies to me, If you look at verse 19,20 you will see that Paul was speaking to those who had a heavenly calling.

So, maybe I don't have to attend meetings 5 times a week. Maybe this is only the responsibility of the anointed.

How do you know these scriptures apply to you?

There are poeple got everything they wanted to, because of money, power, popularity, on the other side of the situation many poeple don't experience the same. Spiritually why God of heaven permits this?

Your subjects are in need of things and for you to have them and them not to have the simple things in this life makes your reign illegitimate. If you look at your people and they say i have nothing and all you do is go around telling everyone they have nothing and complaining about it with out doing anything to fix the problems of your own country you are illegitimate and as a kingdom you are a fraud. These people look to you for the answers and every time you and your wife eat something and they eat bread you are guilty as Marie was for saying let them eat stall rotten cake. Look into your hearts if you truly are kings and queens then they should be as your children not your stepping stones and source of monetary gain. my best friend of 7 years has joined a christian church in the last 6 months and she starts to avoid me and others. She said that she feels bad about her 'sinner' past, ie flirting with guys, have pre-marital sex etc, she also said that God has helped her getting over a very difficult breakup with her ex, she is now different person. I was really close to her but now she doesn't even want to talk to any of us, we are both 27 years old, what should I do to get her back?

Being spiritual is not neccessarily characterised by religious practices such as worship, prayers,meditations and other prescribed rituals.It is a way of being in which one's true being is experienced along with its connectedness to all beings(living and nonliving),its mutuality,equality and harmony with all that exists and hence treat all beings with love and respect - no?If religious practices usher in such a stae of being ,well and good; if not, what is the use of such practices?

"If you do not bear the cross as I did, you cannot be my disciple".

What does that mean to you?

Do you pick up your cross daily?

Would you willingly die on that cross as He did?

Would you willingly make the ultimate sacrifice as He did for you, or would you run away and deny Him like Peter did?

What would you do?

I think for mature Christians, the answer is easy... for those babes in Christ, they would falter at the above.

I am a devout Christian, along with being a humanist. Yet, many Christians tell me these are mutually exclusive. How do you figure, when being a humanist simply means being concerned with the welfare of people and humanity overall? To me, that's the very definition of Jesus Christ Himself.

So, how can you truly be a Christian, without being a humanist as well?

The laws of OT are not at all applicable now. Then why to read it? The NT is of God of Kindness, Sacrifice and Humanity. Then the contravertial OT teachings, why to remember in prayers?

I received a liver transplant last year and will be writing a second letter to them to update them on my life, but would like to throw in a verse or two to acknowledge their son's death and give thanks for the wonderful gift they have given me. I do go to church, though it's fairly new to me and so I am not sure as to what I should use. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If there are other planets with other civilisations living on them, how many of his "children" has God sent to the various corners of the universe, to be executed for the sins of the local beings? Does Satan have access to other planets to tempt? I remember reading somewhere that he is earth-bound. So, there must be other satan equivalents...which begs the question, has God made the same mistake more than once??

I know it was a loaded question. Of course scientists question evolution; they wouldn't bother finding evidence supporting it if they didn't seek opportunities to fill holes in it. I do, however, have a nice little article to post that is directly related to the title.

You see, a lot of creationists claim that there is an increasing creationist/intelligent design movement among scientists. Some are so bold as to claim that the vast majority of scientists reject evolution. Project Steve seeks to disprove that.

The premise is a bit tough to understand at first-- it was for me, anyway. Basically, it's a list of scientists who feel that evolution is a perfectly strong and well-supported theory. The catch is, only people named Steve, Steven, or Stephanie (or something similar) were asked to sign. The end result is a list of names that were supposedly drawn from only 1% of the population.

Why do you always try to preach to others?
My parents hates you people so much but i don't know why, I admire you people so much. This question should be answered by the watchtower people only pliz. I have seen a few in my area but i fail to ask them because we use to chase them sometime back. But i think you are the best.
