Jesus.

For example, if you go to the Bible with cross-references to LDS scriptures, and read "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth," (Genesis 1:1) you find that here God is Jesus:

Mosiah 4: 2.
2 And they had viewed themselves in their own carnal state, even less than the dust of the earth. And they all cried aloud with one voice, saying: O have mercy, and apply the atoning blood of Christ that we may receive forgiveness of our sins, and our hearts may be purified; for we believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who created heaven and earth, and all things; who shall come down among the children of men.
Morm. 9: 11.
11 But behold, I will show unto you a God of miracles, even the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob; and it is that same God who created the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are.
D&C 14: 9.
9 Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, who created the heavens and the earth, a light which cannot be hid in darkness;
D&C 76: 24 (20-24).
24 That by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.
Moses 2: 1.
1 And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto Moses, saying: Behold, I reveal unto you concerning this heaven, and this earth; write the words which I speak. I am the Beginning and the End, the Almighty God; by mine Only Begotten I created these things; yea, in the beginning I created the heaven, and the earth upon which thou standest.
Abr. 4: 1.
1 And then the Lord said: Let us go down. And they went down at the beginning, and they, that is the Gods, organized and formed the heavens and the earth.

The same thing is taught in the New Testament, that Jesus created the heavens and the earth.

To mormons, the term God is more title than name...

"Since his premortal life, Jesus Christ has functioned as the constant associate of the Father working under his direction. In 1916 the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles issued a doctrinal statement on the relationship between the Father and the Son: "Jesus the Son has represented and yet represents Elohim His Father in power and authority. This is true of Christ in His preexistent, antemortal, or unembodied state, in the which He was known as Jehovah; also during His embodiment in the flesh; …and since that period in His resurrected state" (MFP 5:31-32).

Throughout scripture, several roles of Jehovah-Jesus Christ are specifically identified.

CREATOR. Jehovah as Creator is attested throughout the Old Testament (e.g., Ps. 24:1-2). Speaking to Moses, God said, "Worlds without number have I created; …and by the Son I created them, which is mine Only Begotten" (Moses 1:33). John and others acknowledged Jesus as the Word, the Creator: "In the beginning was the Word; …all things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made" (John 1:1-3, 14; cf. Eph. 3:9; Col. 1:16). Similarly, the Book of Mormon teaches, "The Lord Omnipotent who reigneth, who was, and is from all eternity to all eternity, shall come down from heaven among the children of men…. And he shall be called Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning" (Mosiah 3:5-8; cf. 2 Ne. 9:5; 3 Ne. 9:15)."

Although I am not mormon, I clearly understand their concept of a "Godhead", and it is far easier to comprehend than a trinity theory etc....

John:
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David

Psalms
83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Mormons believe Elohim delegated to Jehovah the Creation of the Earth etc. as written in Genesis....

I am not LDS but obviously Jehovah the name of the father.

Jesus is his son according to Luke 1:32 and the name of the most high his father is Jehovah according to Psalm 83:18.

I am not a Mormon, but I personally think the God of the Old Testament was Satan/Lucifer. The OT God was much too vengeful, wrathful, and downright evil to be Divine. I believe The Divine allowed him to create us and then left him to try to clean up his own mess. He tried to become The Divine himself with his world that he created and hence became fallen. The New Testament God, the true Divine, sent a new son, Yeshua (Jesus) to save us and to place the world under a new and loving rule and to cast out Satan from us forever. Just my opinion...

Jesus was the Creator. However, I would like to comment that there is often no need to distinguish between the two. They are one in every sense of the word, except that they are two distinct individuals.

Jesus is Jehovah. He was delegated most of the work in creation. Heavenly Father, however had the lead role in the creation of man.

One or the other depending on the context. Here are links to more creation information. It is interesting to note who is talking in each link. The Godhead is one in purpose so it matters not which one is speaking; they speak as one and work as one.
