No, Christians do not have pre-arranged marriages. No, our parents don't pick our mates either. We have free choice and will.
There is no way I would ever agree to a pre-arranged marriage in the first place. I picked out the man that I wanted to marry and I had never seen him before, didn't even have a first name.
I did marry that man I did not even know and we next year will celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. If I ever would have had to marry someone that I had no say in, that marriage would last less than 5 minutes and I would be heading to the Court house to file for an immediate divorce.

It would be more regional or sect-specific than an overwhelmingly Christian thing to do. According to some sources, something like that happens in certain offshoots of the mainstream LDS (Mormon) church, although not in the mainstream one. For example, the FLDS (think Warren Jeffs) church had a practice at least similar to arranged marriage. They consider themselves to be Christian, whether you do or not. So I'd say that it isn't just being Christian that dictates whether or not an arranged marriage takes place. It has much to do with what kind of Christian you are and where you live. (I'm a mainstream Mormon and will never have a marriage arranged for me.)

First... mormons are not christians.... what they do is up to their cult law... second, while there may be "baptists" who still "arrange" marrages it needs to be stated that there are a number of social groups who still practice that way... there are still groups within The True Christian Faith, and that includes some baptists, who follow that practice... wrong in my pov... but it has nothiing to do with any teaching of God's Word... it is strictly a way of a particular group within a greater society...At least in the U.S. it has no legal power and if an individual dose not want to abide by that they can leave... I am a member of a small concervative Baptist congrigation and I know of no family or congrigation within the association we are part of who practice arranged marrages...

That is a cultural practice more than a religious practice. I guess that Christians that live in parts of the world where marriages are arranged by the families would have arranged marriages. (The Amish, to some extent, would be one example.)

I knew a Christian girl from Pakistan and in her culture they have arranged marriages - I think people have answered this already - it's not advocated necessarily by Christianity but some cultures have this set up regardless of their religions....
Ireland has been a nominally Christian country for about 1400 years and they practised arranged marriages in some parts right up til the early 20th Century........

Of course we do there is tons to arrange flowers, cards, cars, church, guests reception it does not happen by accident does it.
On a serious note though, no this is not a tradition in the UK though those cultures that have such arrangements operate it within the UK and that is their tradition and we should respect that. When you look at comparable divorce rates perhaps we should consider it!!!

wen an arranged marriage happens, there is no such thing as divorce, thats your partner till one of u die. christians get married for the fun of it then divorce, and remarry, disgraceful. a lady who runs a small christian church, is now ready t b married for the 6th time. but ile giv her credit for the way she runs the church. its all voluntree, they do a lot for the elderly, and the not so well of. but surely god did not want us t make vows t him on 6 different occassions. im not married, i dont agree with arranged marriage. im currently engaged, but i dont want t rush into marriage as uif it falters. then i would of upset the lord by not sticking to my viows, that most forget the next day wat vows they spoke before god.

Not any that I'm aware of. Christianity teaches that God gave mankind free agency to choose good or evil. In choosing a spouse it's like choosing the better of two evils, so I don't think parents would try to force their kid to marry someone.

While there may be cultures where marriages are arranged, Christianity as a religion does not advocate arranged marriages.
