If so, does that suggest to you that your own religion does NOT have all of the answers? Does that mean it may be acceptable to follow more than one religion? Or, should we borrow a little from each faith to create a religion of many truths?

If not, how are you sure you've chosen to worship in the correct way? What are your criteria for a "correct" faith?

You say, "stop telling me about 'your God'"
"leave us be, to believe what we will" "who are you to decide what is truth?"

Like noah did, to those that would be soon drowned in the flood.....I DECLARE THAT THE LORD WILL JUDGE THE EARTH....do you know the Lord? why not humble yourself and seek him?

what happened when the people finally saw rain? (it had never rained before then, only dew on the grass) and the rain waters turned into puddles then into rivers.....the people said to Noah ....Okay we believe, let us in, open the door...But it was too late!!! Those that reject God will soon find they were wrong all along....but it will be too late!! remember that RAIN never fell before the flood....so the people had no true concept of it...yet disbelieved God and continued in their sinful pleasures.....

So i warn you, but not with warnings of "rain"...but with FIRE....

will you not reconsider? will you not humble yourself before God?
please!?

If you had to choose one religion to be part of merely for the aesthetics which would would it be?
Put aside the absurd beliefs these religions entail and just focus on the art and the outside appearance of it.

Why does god create people babies with Anencephaly?

Babies with anencephaly are not very intelligently designed. That is, unless you consider the design of a baby with practically no brain, scalp or skull to be well made.

These babies are going to die almost immediately anyway, so why not just make sure the baby is never concieved?

Is there something that you ever find lacking in your beliefs (yes, you atheists and agnostics too)? Do you ever study other beliefs in the hope of finding it? Or, does your challenge come from outside your system? How do you handle it/them? How have you resolved your challenges (if you have)?

I believe that there is a God, but I think he is different for all people and he reveals himself to different people. I'm not sure about the Jesus thing. But I feel, overall, that religion is a way to shape and define morals in a society. Anyone else believe something like that? And what would this type of thought be considered as far as religions go? Thanks!

No haters please - If it rubs you the wrong way, all the more reason to look for a small kernel in it that you appreciate (thats how we practice being human!)

Found this on the internet:
Our brains, which art in our heads,
treasured be thy name.
Thy reasoning come.
Thy best you can do be done
on earth as it is.
Give us this day new
insight to help us resolve conflicts and
ease pain.
And lead us not
into supernatural explanations;
deliver us from denial of logic.
For thine is the kingdom of reason,
and even though thy powers are limited,
and you're not always glorious
you are the best evolutionary adaptation
we have for helping this earth now and
forever and ever.
So be it.

For example
say that I am Protestant, and my love is Catholic.
Does that mean that it's a sin to get married or one of us has to change our view on Christianity?

If you have time read this:
http://www.theforbiddenknowledge.com/genesis/

It really got me thinking,
and it sometimes saddens me what man has
become but is it true.

It states, that god is satan and satan is god (no this isn't a satanism post). it says that satan switched places with god
and deceived the world, can satan really have deceived earth?

That god made us as slaves , and if you really get down to think about it.... Why did god not want us to eat from the tree of knowledge?

What kind of god, is one who dams us to hell,
and dams us onto this earth and takes us away from
paradise...

it's like saying, I want you to be stupid and i grant all your wished?

i'm so confused and my head hurts.
it saddens me what god, satan and the world
have become to believe and fight against.

I live for good,
and In good that's all that I know.
To help others, if I do not
know who I am or what I was brought here
for, atleast I can say I tried my best.

what are your opinions?

As I watched that movie, I was surprised. All the kids were crying all through that movie. Is that really how you Christians try and teach your kids about Jesus??? By turning them into a bunch of crybaby sissies???

It seems Pope Benedict XVI finally confessed that the cruel factory farming and treatment nowadays clearly contradict the teaching of God.

http://blog.peta.org/archives/2007/09/pope_benedict_x.php

Therefore if a faithful Christian by knowingly, and pretending unknowingly consume, supporting such cruel industry, or even not bothered to such contradiction…will warrant virtue??
